Priah Ferguson is getting ready to say goodbye to Stranger Things.

In an exclusive conversation with PEOPLE about Bath & Body Works' latest collection based on the popular Netflix series, the actress, 17, also opens up about the end of the show ahead of its fifth and final season.

"Filming's going great," Ferugson says, a month after it was revealed that season 5 of Stranger Things is halfway through production.

"I believe everybody is fascinated about the finale and about closing the last season in such an epic way," she continues.

Still, Ferguson admits she must keep most of the show's status a secret, adding, "You know, I can't say much, but it's been great so far."

Stranger Things follows a group of kids in 1980s Indiana who must fight supernatural forces and secret government plots. Ferguson portrays Erica Sinclair, the sassy, witty and lovable younger sister of Caleb McLaughlin's Lucas Sinclair.

The series also stars Millie Bobby Brown, Finn Wolfhard, Noah Schnapp, Gaten Matarazzo and Sadie Sink, plus Joe KeeryMaya HawkeNatalia DyerCharlie Heaton, Jamie Campbell Bower, Brett Gelman, David Harbour and Winona Ryder.

Speaking about herself and her costars working together again, Ferguson says, "This season in particular, the dynamic is great."

"It might get a little bittersweet because it may be our last time working together or seeing each other or just working on such a big show like Stranger Things," she adds.

While filming for the final season isn't quite finished yet, Ferguson has an idea of what she would love to be able to take home with her once the series wraps.

"I'd love to take some of Erica's Barbie dolls or some of her wardrobe — it's the 1980s. I think some of her pieces are very cute and staple pieces," she says.

As for what she would like fans remember of her character, Ferguson notes, "I really want Erica to be looked at as a character who has evolved."

She continues, "Erica, at first, she was kind of, I guess people labeled her as rude or annoying, but as you watched the show more and grew to know Erica, I would definitely say that I want people to walk away with knowing that she has become what they want to see."

While Stranger Things fans are eagerly awaiting the premiere of season 5, Bath & Body Works has partnered with the series to release the final installment in their collaboration to hold them over — a new, 15-product collection that will launch later this month.

Among the items for sale are candles, décor, a Demogorgon wallflower nightlight, hand soaps, sanitizers and Stranger Things-themed PocketBac holders.

The collection comes in scents including The Upside Down, which has notes of mossy stone, smoky birch tree and eerie fog; The Demogorgon, which is made to smell like a mix of black orchid petals, spicy cedarwood and dark patchouli; and Eddie’s Leather Jacket, which has an aroma of black leather, soft musk and smoked suede.

While Ferguson is a big fan of each product, one that stands out to her is Eddie's Leather Jacket, which is based on the character portrayed by Joseph Quinn in season 4 of the sci-fi series. "It has a nice edge to it and makes me feel like I'm in a rock-and-roll band," Ferguson tells PEOPLE with a laugh.

Bath & Body Works' Stranger Things collection will be available for purchase online and in-store on Aug. 22. All four seasons of Stranger Things are currently available to stream on Netflix.
