People Editorial Guidelines Updated on March 12, 2024 02:38PM EDT Jodie Turner-Smith (nearly) bared it all on the red carpet on Oscars night. On Sunday, the Sex Education actress, 37, took to the red carpet at the Vanity Fair Oscar Party in Beverly Hills, California, scantily clad in a black Gucci dress with a high slit and low neckline. Along with the floor-length backless dress, Turner-Smith wore stiletto Christian Louboutin heels and jewels from Pasquale Bruni. Abandoning her usual natural dark buzz cut, she instead showed off a new blonde look with soft waves, finishing off her outfit with a glossy makeup look. Karwai Tang/WireImage "moisturised. blessed. highly favoured," Turner-Smith wrote in the caption of an Instagram showing photos from the night. "this gown has made its way to the top of my list as my favourite i have ever worn!!!" Since filing, Turner-Smith has been mostly quiet about their split. However, in a February interview with The Times, she said that she didn’t consider their marriage to be “a failure” and instead spoke about choosing what’s best for herself. "If the answer is no, then you have to make a move because I believe that there are visible scars from staying in places that are not good for us. And they don’t just affect us, they affect everybody around us," she said. "I don’t think it’s a failure," she continued, speaking of her marriage to Jackson. "We obviously had such a beautiful moment together. And now it’s time for a new moment for both of us. And how exciting!"
