During Rodrigo's fourth consecutive show at New York City's Madison Square Garden on Tuesday, she surprised the crowd by bringing out Jewel to sing a duet version of the Alaskan-raised singer-songwriter's early hit, "You Were Meant for Me." "She is such an incredible songwriter. When I first started writing my songs, I would listen to her album Pieces of You before I went to bed," said the 21-year-old "Vampire" performer, as she introduced Jewel, 49, to the stage, according to fan-captured footage. The musicians stood side-by-side as they strummed guitars and sang the song's melancholy lyrics: "Dreams last so long / Even after you're gone / I know that you love me / And soon I know you will see / You were meant for me / And I was meant for you." The "Hands" singer isn't the only guest who joined Rodrigo on stage during her four MSG shows. At the first on April 5, Noah Kahan came out to perform a rendition of his hit "Stick Season" with her as they both played acoustic guitars. Rodrigo's Guts World Tour launches its European leg on April 30 at 3Arena in Dublin, before making stops throughout England, Scotland, Germany, France, Italy and more countries through June 23. Then, she'll return stateside for a second string of North American shows from July 19 through August 17.
