During an exclusive interview with PEOPLE at the nya EAST red carpet premiere of Netflix's Olivia Rodrigo: GUTS World Tour, the pop star, 21, opened up about what her ideal day off looks like. "Oh, my gosh, wake up, go get brunch with my friends, maybe write a song or something," she says. Rodrigo also adds that she loves "to go to the beach." "I love going to the beach and then sitting in the hot tub with a glass of wine," says the "good 4 u" singer. Olivia Rodrigo in October 2024. "I was like, ‘I should have rehearsed more… like I needed three more weeks to rehearse this thing,’ “ she told PEOPLE. “But I was like, ‘Oh well, I’m gonna go on.’ “ But Rodrigo recalled having "such a beautiful moment" with her parents and friends off-stage. “I remember coming off stage and my mom, my dad, and all my friends were there to support me and just cheering,” she said. “We popped champagne. And it was such a beautiful moment. Christopher Polk/Billboard via Getty Olivia Rodrigo Recalls Feeling ‘Terrified’ the First Night of Her GUTS World Tour: ‘I Should’ve Rehearsed More’ (Exclusive) The High School Musical: The Musical: The Series star's GUTS World Tour documentary, which was directed by James Merryman, is set to premiere on Netflix on Oct. 29. “I am so excited to share the GUTS World Tour with my fans,” Rodrigo said in a statement when the special was initially announced. “For those of you who didn’t get a chance to rock out in-person, now you can have the best seats in the house! And to the fans who cheered, screamed, and danced with me, I am so glad we get to do it all over again!” The GUTS World Tour started on Feb. 23 in Palm Springs with Chappell Roan as Rodrigo’s opening act. Also featured on the tour were The Breeders, Remi Wolf, PinkPantheress and Benee. Close
