Fox channeled his inner rock star! The actor, 63, joined Coldplay to play guitar during the band's headlining set at the Glastonbury Festival in the U.K. on Saturday, June 29. "With his Chuck Berry riff and the way he punched Biff: ladies and gentlemen, please welcome Michael J. Fox,” frontman Chris Martin said, per Variety, introducing the star with references to his popular Back to the Future film. The band then performed “Humankind," the outlet reported, before Fox stuck around on stage to strum on a guitar during a performance of Coldplay's "Fix You." Fox was in a wheelchair for the portion of the show. The star was diagnosed with Parkinson’s Disease back in 1991. Why Coldplay Almost Missed Their First Glastonbury Set After the performances, Martin, 47, gave a shoutout to Fox for the pivotal role he played in shaping his career as a musician. “The main reason we’re in a band is because of Back to the Future," the rocker said, per Variety. “So thank you to Michael, our hero.” Fox previously collaborated with Coldplay at the MetLife Stadium in New Jersey in July 2016, when they performed “Johnny B.
