New music from Lady Gaga is arriving sooner than you may think.

The Grammy and Oscar winner is currently promoting her leading role as Harleen “Lee” Quinzel, a.k.a. Harley Quinn in Joker: Folie à Deux at the Venice Film Festival, but she posted to Instagram on Sept. 3 and teased the release date for the first new single from her upcoming seventh album.

Gaga, 38, shared a photo of her festival schedule for the week, including a welcome dinner, the Joker sequel's world premiere screening, press conference, red carpet and European press junket.

After the festival, Gaga's schedule notes that Joker: Folie à Deux, also starring Joaquin Phoenix in its titular role, is out in theaters on Oct. 4 — and the "LG7 first single" will be released sometime the same month.

The "Stupid Love" performer previously teased her upcoming seventh album with a brief snippet of a song at the end of her Gaga Chromatica Ball special, released in May on HBO. She also played multiple audio tracks for fans outside her hotel during the 2024 Paris Olympics.

Last month, Gaga teamed up with Bruno Mars for the collaboration "Die with a Smile," a romantic soft rock ballad that's since reached No. 3 on the Billboard Hot 100.

"Bruno and I have a lot of mutual respect for each other and were talking about collaborating," she said in a statement around the duet's Aug. 16 release.

"I was finishing up my own album in Malibu and one night after a long day he asked me to come to his studio to hear something he was working on," added Gaga.

She continued, "It was around midnight when I got there and I was blown away when I heard what he had started making. We stayed up all night and finished writing and recording the song. Bruno’s talent is beyond explanation. His musicianship and vision is next level. There’s no one like him."

Mars, 38, also spoke about working with the "Bad Romance" musician in a statement at the time. "Getting to work with Gaga has been an honor. She’s an icon and she makes this song magical. I’m so excited for everyone to hear it," he said.

Ahead of the "Die with a Smile" release, Gaga said on Instagram that the duet is meant for fans to enjoy "while you wait till LG7."
