The Intuit Dome in Los Angeles opened its doors in style thanks to a surprise performance from Bruno Mars and Lady Gaga!

The duo performed a duet of their new track "Die with a Smile” at the grand opening of the $2 billion indoor arena on Thursday, Aug. 15.

In a clip posted to X (formerly known as Twitter) by the official Intuit Dome account, Mars and Gaga, both 38, could be seen performing the chorus of the track after Gaga joined the “Smokin out the Window” singer onstage during his concert at the opening.

Another clip showed Gaga asking the crowd, “How you feeling L.A.?” while seated behind a keyboard and sporting an oversized beehive hairstyle, pink and white plaid minidress and white tights.

“Ladies and gentlemen, put your hands together for the icon, pop royalty, Lady Gaga,” said Mars, who wore a pink shirt and beige cowboy hat. “You guys are gonna be the first to hear us play this song live.”

As the crowd went wild, Mars and Gaga smiled at one another before launching into their duet.

The opening of the new arena, which is now the home of the LA Clippers, was a star-studded affair, with the likes of Angela Bassett, Simu Liu, Sophia Bush, Meghan Trainor, Kelsea Ballerini, Jennifer Lopez and Derek Hough all in attendance at the ceremony.

After days of teasing their collaboration on social media, Mars and Gaga officially dropped their brand-new duet along with a vintage-themed music video on Friday, Aug. 16.
