The Boys star, 32, spoke during New York Comic Con at the Happy Sad Confused 10th Anniversary podcast recording and touched on the frequent nudity in the show — something he is seemingly no longer keen of doing. "Oh, man, I kind of just want nudity to stop," he noted of his work on the comedy series. "My butt’s had a lot of screen time and it’s not a great one, you know what I mean." "Yes, no ... anything involved in my a--, I've just been like, 'Can you just not watch?' he answered. "I mean, season 3, don't watch it. Like no one in my family should watch season 3. While appearing on Late Night with Seth Meyers in 2022, Jack joked about his nudity on The Boys and the "modesty wear" he dons during nude scenes, which are used to cover only his genitalia. Jason Kempin/Getty While joking about the provided instructions to don "modesty wear," Jack quips that it's like "an at-home COVID test," adding that wearing the garments "may be worse than actually being naked" That same year, Jack told Glamour that getting nude for scenes in The Boys has become "only slightly" easier over time. "It's a weird thing because you're just kind of naked in a room full of very clothed people and it's just a thing the human brain isn't used to. It was an adjustment period for sure. Toward the end I got more comfortable with it. Everyone on set is just such a professional, so I trust everybody. I've spent three years with these people and they've all become like my family, so it really wasn't too uncomfortable. If it happened in the first season, that may be a different conversation, but for what it was, it couldn't have gone better," he added. In a 2023 interview with Discussing Film, he further rationalized his nude scenes by saying, "Granted, I had to get naked for a lot of it, but it’s a solid trade-off because Nightcrawler is one of my favorite X-Men, and I got naked for Nightcrawler powers!"
