Ali Wong shared a sweet smooch with boyfriend Bill Hader after winning best actress in a limited series at the 81st Annual Golden Globes — but it was her ex-husband Justin Hakuta who got a shout-out in her acceptance speech.

The Beef star, 41, shared with the audience on Sunday night: "I really need to thank the father of my children and my best friend Justin for all of your love and support. It's because of you that I'm able to be a working mother.” (From the audience, an unbothered Hader, 45, shrugged in response to not being mentioned in Wong’s speech.)

After her time at the podium, Wong told Entertainment Tonight, "I like to keep it peaceful and grateful and amicable” when it comes to the men in her life.

Wong and Hakuta were married in 2014, and split in 2022. It was just last month that Wong officially filed for divorce, citing “irreconcilable differences.” Still, Wong and Hakuta have been seen happily co-parenting their children, Mari, 8, and Nikki, 6.

Hader and Wong were first linked in late 2022. They took a brief break from their relationship, and PEOPLE confirmed in April 2023 the couple had reunited. The Barry creator referenced their romance — without naming Wong — telling PEOPLE last year: “My girlfriend and I were talking and she brought it up that I haven't had a vacation in 10 years, so I think I need to go."

Wong’s work portraying Amy Lau in Netflix’s limited series Beef won over other nominations including Lessons in Chemistry lead Brie Larson, Love & Death actress Elizabeth Olsen, Fargo's Juno Temple, Dead Ringers' Rachel Weisz and Daisy Jones & The Six star Riley Keough.

Outside of her ex, the actress also praised her TV family during her acceptance speech. "I really need to thank Sonny [Lee] so much for creating such a beautiful show and inviting me to be a part of it," she said, adding that "the friendship that I made with you and Steven [Yeun] and Jake [Schreier] and the rest of the cast and crew will always be the best thing that came out of Beef.”
