Emma Chamberlain and Rumored Boyfriend Peter McPoland Discretely Go Instagram Official with Matching Halloween Costumes

Emma Chamberlain and Peter McPoland seem to be taking their relationship to the next level.

After months of dating rumors, the YouTuber star and her rumored musician boyfriend seemingly made their relationship Instagram official with a post that showed off their matching Wallace & Gromit costumes on Halloween.

Chamberlain, 23, posted a carousel to her page on Oct. 31, featuring a roundup of photos that showed off her stylish take on Wallace from the British stop-motion animated comedy franchise. One of the images, meanwhile, featured a zoomed-in shot of the "Hello, my name is Gromit" name tag.

While the cropped photo of the intelligent anthropomorphic beagle's name card didn't picture the person's face, McPoland uploaded his own Instagram carousel showing off his costume as Gromit in full. "someone let the dog out…😈🔥" the 23-year-old singer-songwriter captioned his post.

Each of the posts were filled with comments speculating that this was the pair's subtle way of making their romance official. "Emma soft launching her grommit," wrote one user on Chamerlain's post. "Love the confirmation of dating Emma ;)" wrote another on McPoland's.

In classic Chamberlain fashion, the chic content creator's interpretation of Wallace's ensemble was nonetheless stylish. The look, in fact, aligned with the closet staples often worn by Chamberlain, who's become synonymous for her often-thrifted and vintage sweater vests over the years.

The platinum blonde, pixie-cut Chamberlain layered the character's iconic green sweater vest over a classic white-collared button-up, red tie and brown pleated shirt. She accessorized with the "Hello, my name is Wallace" name tag and simple hoop earrings.

McPoland wore a zip-up, white fuzzy onesie complete with a hood and dog ears attached. He brought the pup's look home with a dot of black face paint on his nose and the Gromit name tag.

The musician, who's signed by Columbia Records and his known for his alternative-indie sound, edged up his costume with a pair of black Converse and included a shot in his Instagram roundup of himself strapped with an electric guitar around him.

Despite their matching couple, they seemingly didn't pose for any photos together. Chamberlain stepped out to attend Vas J. Morgan And Michael Braun's 2024 Halloween Party in Los Angeles, though it's unclear whether or not McPoland joined her at the spooky soirée.

Chamberlain and McPoland's Halloween moment is the latest fuel to romance rumors, which have been ongoing since they were first seen together in New York City in May 2024. The couple has stepped out alongside each other on numerous occasions in the months that followed.

After their spotting near Rockefeller Center, the duo were seen later that month at the Kilby Block Party music festival in Utah. They made their first public appearance together at the 2024 Paris Olympics in July, though neither have confirmed their relationship.

Chamberlain and McPoland were seen with the social media star's dad, Michael, at an event hosted by Ralph Lauren. They were later photographed the next day sitting next to each other at the Olympic's artistic gymnastics tournament.

Chamberlain, who has been in the public eye since her rise to fame on YouTube, previously dated musician Tucker Pillsbury, known artistically as Role Model, for three years before they broke up in October 2023.

McPoland, meanwhile, has kept his personal life out of the public eye.
