Just when she thought it would be hard to "top" her Cheshire Cat costume from her "Mad Forest" Halloween party, the social media star proved herself wrong with the help of her Miami Dolphins player boyfriend Braxton Berrios in a post shared on Instagram. The couple transformed into a near-identical recreation of Barbie and Ken from the vintage Florida Vacation set that hit shelves in 1998. Earle slipped into a pink leopard one-piece swimsuit paired with metallic pink heels and accessorized with matching shades and earrings. As for Berrios, his costume was minimal: teal swim trunks and a solid fake tan. Alix Earle/Instagram The pair, who have been dating since November 2023, posed like dolls in a photoshoot resembling the boxed toy by Mattel. The first image sees Berrios cradling a stiff-positioned Earle, who perfectly nailed the plastic aesthetic. The Instagram carousel swiped to a shot of the pair pretending to look through the plastic of the box, followed by a picture of the two hugging and a photo standing tall. The final shot featured a shot of Earle's pink heel on top of the real Barbie toy in the box, Alix Earle/Instagram "The Ken to my Barbie 🩷" she captioned her post. Earle revealed in a behind-the-scenes video on TikTok that the photoshoot was shot in Miami a few weeks ago, prior to Braxton's season-ending injury. The wide receiver tore his ACL during a game against the Cincinnati Colts on Oct. 20. The content creator says in the TikTok that she was inspired by the vintage Barbie she found on eBay, especially in the wake of the hugely successful Barbie movie starring Margot Robbie and Ryan Gosling in 2023. "I wanted it to look like we were in a box," she says in the clip which shows Earle and Braxton posing in front of a yellow backdrop. "I actually had no idea how to pose for this," she jokes of her attempt to look plastic. Alix Earle/Instagram Inside Alix Earle's Star-Studded 'Mad Forest' Halloween Party, a Dark Take on Alice in Wonderland (Exclusive) Alix Earle/Instagram Committing to the part is nothing new for the Hot Mess podcast host, who went all-in on her Cheshire Cat look for her Alice in Wonderland-inspired Halloween party on Oct. 25. To transform into the fictional, famed feline, she wore head-to-toe body paint and prosthetics the whole night. The social media star gave PEOPLE an inside look at her "Mad Forest" Halloween bash, a star-studded, spooky soirée held at Keys Nightclub in Los Angeles. The invite-only event attracted A-listers including Nicholas Alexander Chavez, The Kid LAROI and Shay Mitchell. Earle spoke with PEOPLE exclusively at the 2024 CFDA Awards three days later, admitting that she hadn't been able to get all the paint off. "There’s pink in my ears still," she said, adding, "It’s been quite the process to get that one off, so it might quite literally still be around next year." Close
