The actress took to Instagram on Oct. 31 to show off her costume this Halloween, which is one Scream fans might instantly recognize. In a video shared on the holiday, Cox (who played Gale Weathers in the horror franchise) can be seen rocking a pair of blunt baby bangs, inspired by the time she notoriously had a pixie fringe in the third film, which was released in 2000. Dressed in a purple suit, Cox, 60, carefully gathers her costume-clad pups for a photo shoot. The dogs, dressed in Ghostface outfits, adorably sit in chairs while their mom positions them in poses — until actual Ghostface appears. Cox belts out a pretty wicked film-worthy scream as someone dressed as the famous killer scares her from behind. “Happy Halloween everyone!” she captioned the post. The Friends alum joked about bringing back her bangs on Halloween four years ago, posting a selfie of her wearing clip-ins while someone dressed as Ghostface held a pair of scissors near her hairline. “Not the bangs!” she wrote.
