Happy Halloween from the Scandal cast.

Alums of the ABC political drama Kerry Washington, Tony Goldwyn and Scott Foley decided to play into their characters' love triangle by dressing up as Tashi, Art and Patrick from the 2024 Luca Guadagnino-directed movie Challengers.

"Challengers Accepted 🎾🎾🎾," Washington, 47, captioned a Thursday, Oct. 31, joint Instagram post along with Goldwyn, 64, and Foley, 52.

"#HappyHalloween," the actress added.

The image, which appears to be a photoshopped-together composite of their pictures, shows Washington as tennis star-turned-coach Tashi Duncan, played by Zendaya in the sports drama. She wears a gray T-shirt with the phrase "I Told Ya" written in black lettering. Like Zendaya in the film, Washington's long, dark hair falls nearly to her waist.

The shirt, which was inspired by the late John F. Kennedy Jr. and recreated by Challengers costume designer Jonathan Anderson, quickly became a meme-able moment from the film. Zendaya, 28, appeared at a surprise screening in New York City wearing the tee as a nod to her character. She paired the shirt with black wide-leg pants, white netted pumps and a brown trench coat.

It's speculated that the original top is connected to inaugural buttons designed for President Kennedy in 1961, which carried a similar tagline, "I Told You So," written in bold red letters.

Goldwyn channeled the character of Art Donaldson (played by Mike Faist) by wearing a red Nike Stanford shirt over a long-sleeve white shirt and a matching red backward baseball cap. He also carried a tennis racket (of course). Foley was dressed as Patrick Zweig (Josh O'Connor), donning a black sleeveless top with pink abstract lines.

While certainly a movie about tennis, the actual sport takes a backseat to the love triangle between Tashi, Art and Patrick. The tension is not dissimilar from the dynamic between Washington's Scandal character Olivia Pope, Goldwyn's President Fitzgerald and Foley's Jake Ballard.
