Derek Hough Says He's 'Happy for' Jenn Tran and Sasha Farber After She Teases Their 'Private Rehearsals' Post-DWTS Elimination

Derek Hough is giving his seal approval to Jenn Tran and Sasha Farber.

Two days after her elimination from Dancing with the Stars, the former Bachelorette, 26, teased on TikTok that her connection with Farber, 40, may extend beyond the ballroom.

“Private rehearsals starting ASAP #DWTS,” she wrote alongside the clip of her knocking on Farber’s door.

When the door opens, her DWTS partner greets with a giant smile before she wraps her arm around him.

The clip is set to the viral sound, which says, “When one door closes another door opens. We so often look so long and so regretfully upon the closed door that we do not see the ones that open for us.”

The pair’s DWTS costars and fans showed their support in the comment section, with many addressing the rumors that they may be dating.

“I give this a 100 :) happy for you two ❤️” Hough, who serves as a judge on season 33 of the ABC dance competition, wrote.

Pro Ezra Sosa, who was paired with Anna Delvey this season, also shared two comments, including "this is so cute 🥹" and “i ship it.”

“BABE IS THIS A SOFT LAUNCH,” one fan asked, while another posted, “this is a hallmark story.”

The post comes after Tran gushed to PEOPLE about Farber and her experience on DWTS following her elimination on the “Halloween Nightmares” episode Tuesday, Oct. 29.

"All the people that I've met have been so kind. I truly felt like a part of the family here. So, I'm walking away with a new family that I didn't know that I had, and such an incredible man who I got to meet by twist of fate,” Tran said Farber. 

“We weren't even supposed to be on the show this season,” she continued. “So I'm just so happy.”

Tran shared that she has “great memories” from being on the set and practicing her dances with Farber each week.

“Every day rehearsal is such a blessing and we got to have so much fun together, and it's just been an incredible, incredible journey and I'm just so proud and happy,” Tran said, with Farber adding that he's “so happy” as well.

Before their elimination, Tran posted a video to her TikTok account of she and Farber riding a swan boat together in L.A.’s Echo Park on Oct. 19. In the clip, Tran jokingly called the outing a “date,” explaining to her followers that getting filmed doing activities in public reminded her of her time on The Bachelorette.

The pair were even asked by host Julianne Hough on Oct. 22 about whether their natural chemistry on the ballroom floor made a difference in their dance partnership, prompting Tran to admit, “Absolutely.”

”We trust each other so much. We know each other so well. So that's why this works so well,” she added.

Tran previously ended her engagement to Devin Strader following the conclusion of The Bachelorette and teased a reunion with one of her former suitors, fan-favorite Jonathon Johnson. As for Farber, he was previously married to his DWTS costar Emma Slater.
