The morning after Tran reunited with her former fiancé, Devin Strader, on After the Final Rose for an emotional conversation on their split, the 26-year-old said she's ready to "move on with my life." "It definitely was a moment I’ve been wanting to happen for the past month," she said of reuniting with Devin, 28, on Good Morning America on Sept. 4. "I just needed to get that off of my chest and start a clean slate." And since then, it’s just been off and on and whatnot. So it’s finally nice to get the closure that I finally needed last night," she said, reiterating what she shared on After the Final Rose with host Jesse Palmer on Sept. 3. "I was so happy, so ready to start our life together," she explained. "But I had realized that his energy had shifted and his priorities had shifted and he wasn’t the same person he was on the show as off of the show." She picked up on the shift in her fiancée "pretty immediate[ly]," she said. "I started noticing the efforts were different and the inconsistencies and the things he was promising me and then not fulfilling," she added. "But I said, ‘Maybe it’s just the show, it’s been a lot coming off of the show.’ So I gave grace with that. And I think over time, I just realized, his heart just wasn’t in it anymore." "I proposed to a man who promised me a fulfilling life, a loving partnership and a marriage that I had always wanted. So I’m very confident in knowing that’s still what I want," she said. "Unfortunately, he just wasn’t the man he had talked himself up to be. But I would be so lucky to find another man who would be able to fulfill those promises."
