Ali Wong Kisses Boyfriend Bill Hader at 2024 Critics Choice Awards as She Scores Another Beef Win

Ali Wong and Bill Hader are continuing their awards season PDA at the 2024 Critics Choice Awards!

One week after the couple attended the Golden Globes, where the actress was named best actress in a limited series, Wong had Hader by her side once again as she walked away with another award for her work on Netflix's Beef.

Upon earning the Critics Choice Award for best actress in a limited series or movie made for television, Wong, 41, and Hader, 45, stood from their seats to embrace and share a kiss — just as they did when she was honored at last week's Golden Globe Awards. She then gave a brief speech, thanking her Beef colleagues while noting how winning was "such an honor."

During her Golden Globes speech last week, Wong thanked her ex-husband Justin Hakuta, with whom she co-parents their two daughters, Mari, 8, and Nikki, 6. 

“I like to keep it peaceful and grateful and amicable,” Wong told Entertainment Tonight after the speech.

Hakuta, 41, and Wong married in 2014 and separated in 2022. Only last month did Wong officially file for divorce, citing “irreconcilable differences.” A source told PEOPLE, “It’s amicable and they will continue to co-parent lovingly.”

Wong and Hader briefly dated in late 2022 and split until rekindling their relationship the following April. At the season 4 premiere of Hader’s comedy-drama Barry, the Saturday Night Live alum told PEOPLE — without naming Wong — that, “My girlfriend and I were talking and she brought it up that I haven’t had a vacation in 10 years, so I think I need to go.” 

In Beef, Wong portrayed the temperamental business owner Amy Lau opposite Steven Yeun. Her performance garnered her critical acclaim and several award nominations, including at the Emmys.

At the 29th Critics’ Choice Awards, she is nominated alongside Reality's Sydney Sweeney, Carla Gugino of The Fall of the House of Usher, Lessons in Chemistry's Brie Larson, Fargo's Juno Temple, Kaitlyn Dever from No One Will Save You and A Small Light's Bel Powley. Hader is in the best TV comedy actor alongside Only Murders in the Building's Steve Martin, Kayvan Novak of What We Do in the Shadows, The Other Two star Drew Tarver, The Bear's Jeremy Allen White and Reservation Dogs' D’Pharaoh Woon-A-Tai.
