The Loki actor, 52, who presented the award for best actress in a drama series right after Ford received the Career Achievement Award, couldn’t help but give his Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom costar a shoutout before listing the nominees. “First of all, I gotta say, Harrison, congratulations! So happy— I’m so happy to be in the room when you won the award,” he said. In March, when Quan’s film won best picture at the 2023 Oscars, the Star Wars actor embraced him when he went onstage. An excited Quan jumped up and down before appearing to happily give Ford a kiss on the cheek. Following the pair's hug at the Oscars, a side-by-side image of their onstage moment and a film still of Ford hugging a then-child Quan, who played Short Round in Temple of Doom, went viral on social media. The Everything Everywhere All at Once actor wrapped both his arms around Ford, who beamed as he held his arm around Quan's shoulder on the red carpet. Quan also crashed Ford's interview with Extra, gleefully greeting the star as Ford quipped: "You're all grown up!" "I don’t need to be proud of this guy," Ford told the outlet when asked how he feels about Quan's success. "He’s done all of this himself. It has nothing to do with me. I have great love and admiration for this guy, but his pride is his own.” "You’re making me get very emotional Harrison. I love you so much," Quan said during the exchange. "Of course, the reason why I love acting so much is because of him, because I had such a wonderful, wonderful experience on Temple of Doom."
