Christina Hall Likes Ex-Husband Ant Anstead’s Instagram About Her Former Stepdaughter

Christina Hall showed support for her ex-husband Ant Anstead as the proud dad shared a heartfelt message for his daughter Amelie on a milestone birthday.

“I cannot believe my baby girl is 21…! It feels so crazy!” the British automotive expert and TV host, 45, began the Instagram tribute, which Hall, 41, liked.

The post, which Anstead shared on Sunday, Sept. 29, featured a montage of photos of Amelie, whom he shares with his first wife Louise Storey, along with son Archie, 18. Anstead also shares 5-year-old son Hudson with Hall.

“Ammo you will always be my little lady!” the Celebrity IOU: Joyride host wrote. “I cannot tell you how proud I am of the woman you have become, who you are and everything you stand for!! You are a miracle! You have strength and courage with a huge heart and kindness! You are so rare and special.”

“Courage, sacrifice, determination, commitment, toughness, heart, talent, guts. That’s what little girls are made of; the heck with sugar and spice,” he continued. “I love you Ammo and I’m so proud of you! Happy birthday my little lady ❤️ x”

Hall became stepmom to Amelie and Archie when she tied the knot with Anstead in 2018. The pair split in 2020, finalizing their divorce in 2021. Their blended family also included Hall's children with ex Tarek El Moussa: Taylor, 14, and Brayden, 9.

While Christina and Anstead have previously had a contentious relationship post-split thanks to a heated custody battle, the Christina on the Coast star re-followed her ex on Instagram and has liked some of his recent posts, following her split from her third husband, Josh Hall, in July.

Talking to Backgrid on July 31, Christina shared that Hudson was a key reason for her decision to re-follow Anstead on social media. 

“Ant and I share Hudson... and I feel like he deserves to have us get along,” she said.

In late July, Christina reacted to a fan’s suggestion that Anstead join The Flip Off, her upcoming HGTV series in which Josh was originally set to be her partner in a house flipping against her first husband, Tarek El Moussa, and his current wife, Heather El Moussa.

“How awesome would it be to have Ant replace Josh on The Flip Off? Ratings would go through the roof. If it happens, I need some credit. Lol,” the commenter wrote.

Christina replied, “LOL that would be a genius 'ratings' idea just sayin.”

She later clarified her opinion on the prospect of Anstead taking Josh’s place on the HGTV series.

“It would be good for ratings, but I can’t work with any more exes," she told Backgrid. "I already work with Tarek.”

Josh filed for divorce on July 15 after nearly three years of marriage, citing "irreconcilable differences" and asking for spousal support from the HGTV star.

Christina responded with her own legal filing on July 24, which asked that neither spouse be allowed to request support, and listed the real estate properties at stake in the divorce.

In the nearly three months since Christina’s split from Josh, she and Anstead have had several public interactions on social media.

In early September, Christina tagged Anstead in an Instagram video of Hudson’s successful first soccer practice.

And when Anstead posted a birthday tribute for Hudson on Sept. 6, which referenced his girlfriend Renée Zellweger, Christina commented on the post.

"Happy birthday Hudzo! WOW what a privilege it’s been to witness you become a bright, sparkly, funny, brilliant, generous magnetic, talented and kind little man," Anstead wrote on Instagram.

"You have taught me so much about so much! It’s been a privilege to do this dad thing all over again. You humble me and fill everyone around you with joy and love," he added. "NayNay and I love you very much! Happy 5th birthday Hudzo ❤️ x."

Hall’s reply to Anstead's post read, "Happy Birthday to our sweet boy!"
