Latinos Celebrate 'Despacito' Performance at Grammys

Luis Fonsi and Daddy Yankee may not have walked away with an award for their smash hit “Despacito” at the 60th Annual Grammy Awards, but the two Puerto Rican artists stole the show when they gave a sensational performance of the Spanish-language track. Their presentation didn’t only get a standing ovation from the star-studded audience, but was wildly celebrated by Latino fans across social media.

During Fonsi and Yankee’s performance, Latinos rushed to Twitter to express their excitement at a Spanish-language song getting front and center attention at an iconic awards ceremony. “Feels so good to see @LuisFonsi & @daddy_yankee on that #Grammys stage. #LatinosStandUp #Despacito #PuertoRico,” one fan wrote.
