The 2024 BET Hip Hop Awards have been handed out!

The 17th annual hip-hop awards ceremony took place on Oct. 8 at Drai’s Beachclub & Nightclub in Las Vegas, where generations of hip-hop stars gathered to celebrate its biggest night. The ceremony was hosted by New York icon Fat Joe, and aired on BET and vH1 on Tuesday, Oct. 15.

Hot off the heels of her self-titled album — and her first independent release — Megan Thee Stallion led with 12 nominations. Kendrick Lamar following right behind her with 11 nominations after a fiery year due to his feud with Drake, who was up for eight awards.

Performers at the BET Hip Hop Awards include 2 Chainz, GloRilla, Juicy J, Bossman Dlow, Trina, Yung Miami, and more.

Also being honored is Travis Scott for the I Am Hip Hop Award. The Cactus Jack founder recently celebrated a decade of his breakthrough album Days Before Rodeo, and is now accepting the award for changing "the course of hip-hop with a procession of groundbreaking albums and conversation-starting moves."
