On Monday, Nov. 4, the actor, 32, who plays John B., the ringleader of the Pogues, in the beloved Netflix series, confirmed that the series will end after five seasons. Stokes commented on the news by sharing the joint statement from co-creators Jonas Pate, Josh Pate and Shannon Burke published on the show's official accounts earlier Monday, alongside his own message. The news comes days before the second half of season 4 drops on Netflix on Thursday, Nov. 7. "The season ends with a feature-length episode, which we think is our best, most powerful episode. We hope you feel the same way," the statement adds, noting that they have a mission to "bring our beloved Pogues home in the way we imagined and planned years ago" during season 5. "Season Five will be our last season, and we think it will be our best yet. We hope you'll join us for one more paddle out to the surf break," the statement adds.
