HANGING TOUGH

Leaving little to the imagination in a sheer, sparkly bodysuit, multiple-nominee Pink sang "Glitter in the Air" – ahem, live – while spinning from silk drapes suspended high above the 2010 Grammy Awards stage. "I thought ... I was going to fall on my nude butt," she said after the performance. "But I worked it out. I would say that no one ever has another excuse to lip sync again."

NYAH, NYAH, NYAH

Following Christina Aguilera's March arrest for public intoxication, the singer cheekily Tweeted, "Out of Myself, Britney Spears" ] and Christina – didn't everyone think I was gonna be the troublemaker?" before adding, "LOOK MA!!! NO CUFFS!"

PUTTING A RING ON IT

In June 2005, Pink took her marital status into her own hands by proposing to motocross star Carey Hart at the Pro 250 class finals in Mammoth, Calif. As he entered the third lap of the race, she held up a pit board that read, "Will You Marry Me?" followed by one that said, "I'm serious!" when Hart failed to pull over. Six months later, the couple tied the knot on Jan. 7, 2006.

STANDING UP FOR TAYLOR

As a witness to Kanye West interrupting Taylor Swift's acceptance speech for best female video at the 2009 MTV Video Music Awards, Pink came to the country queen's defense, Tweeting, "Kanye west is the biggest piece of s– on earth ... [Swift] is a sweet and talented girl and deserved her moment. She should know we all love her."

NO HARD FEELINGS?

After they split in 2008, Pink invited Hart to share screen time in the music video for her post-breakup anthem, "So What," with lyrics like, "I'm alright/I'm just fine/And you're a tool." "When I sing, 'He's a tool,' now that's my favorite line," she told Ellen DeGeneres in May 2009 of what it's like to perform the song with Hart in the audience after they reunited. "Hi, Honey, that's you."

TAKING HOME THE GOLD

In 2001, the singer teamed with Aguilera, Mya, Lil' Kim and Missy Elliott to remake the song "Lady Marmalade," which became a No. 1 hit and scored Pink her first Grammy win in 2002. "When I won the Grammy I was happy and my parents were proud," she said of the award, for Best Pop Collaboration with Vocals. "But I felt like I was winning it for the team."

GETTING THE PARTY STARTED (EARLY)

Having taken home the Moonman for best dance video earlier in the night, Pink – sporting full sleeves of faux tattoos – got to celebrating early at the 2002 VMAs, where she took the stage after winning best female video for "Get the Party Started," and announced, "I'm too drunk for this!" Viewer's choice winner Michelle Branch took a page from the boozed-up singer's playbook, saying, "I think I'm drunker than Pink!" during her own acceptance speech

ROCKING ROME

The pop star joined forces with Spears and Beyoncé for a 2004 Pepsi commercial in which the three women played gladiators who defeat an evil emperor (Enrique Iglesias) with their voices. Their weapon of choice? Queen's "We Will Rock You." "It was cool to see, because we're all so different, how we could bring different stuff to the table," Pink said at the London premiere of the ad.

NEEDLING HOLLYWOOD

No one was safe when Pink set her satirical sights on Hollywood starlets in her January 2006 video for "Stupid Girls." Pink gleefully mocked Jessica Simpson (for her soapy "These Boots Are Made for Walkin'" video), Paris Hilton (for her night-vision sex tape) and scores of other "paparazzi girls" in the clip. "I live in L.A., so it's obvious what I'm surrounded by," Pink told MTV.com.

NOTORIOUS M.O.M.

After repeatedly trying for a baby, Pink's dreams of motherhood are finally fulfilled when she welcomed daughter Willow Sage on June 2. "I have a life inside of me, and I want her or him to know that I will accept him or her with open and loving and welcoming arms," she wrote on her Web site in January. "And though I will prepare this little munchkin for a sometimes cruel world, I will also equip this kid to see all the beauty in it as well." Now that's a rockin' mom!
