While Jennifer Lopez and Marc Anthony called their split “painful,” Lopez is at peace with the couple’s decision to end their marriage of seven years, a source tells PEOPLE.

“She is very relieved to be out of [the marriage], frankly,” says a source close to the singer, who recently celebrated her 42nd birthday. “I don’t think she is sitting around crying or wondering if she made the wrong decision.”

Instead Lopez – who is currently with her 3-year-old twins Max and Emme in Atlanta where she’s shooting the movie What to Expect When You’re Expecting – is focused on work. “For her, it’s back to business,” the source says. “She is all about her career. She’s excited to move on.”

Speaking of Lopez’s career, another source told PEOPLE last month that she is "very close" to signing on for a second season as a judge on American Idol.

On Friday, Idol executive producer Cecile Frot-Coutaz told reporters that negotiations are on track.

“Look, we are not worried,” she said of Lopez’s Idol deal. “The contract hasn’t been signed yet, but she’ll be back.”
