Brie Larson Spotted Out with Artist Benjamin Styer, 10 Months After Revealing Split from Elijah Allan-Blitz

Does Brie Larson have a new man in her life?

The Marvels actress, 34, was photographed Sunday night alongside artist Benjamin Styer at Pasadena Playhouse in Pasadena, California, where they stood close together as they took in a performance of Kate Berlant's one-woman show Kate, per Page Six.

For the evening, Larson wore a red midi-length dress with billowy sleeves and strappy white kitten heels, accessorizing with a patterned scarf around her neck. Styer, a Massachusetts-based painter, opted for a blue jacket over a lighter-blue button up shirt, finishing the casual look in brown slacks and black loafers.

The two were spotted getting into the same SUV following the show, with Larson behind the wheel and Styer in the passenger seat.

A rep for Larson did not immediately respond to PEOPLE's request for comment on Tuesday.

Larson was previously linked to virtual-reality director Elijah Allan-Blitz, first sparking dating rumors after they were photographed kissing in July 2019.

The Oscar winner confirmed her breakup from Allan-Blitz, 36, last year, while speaking with Harper's Bazaar for the publication's April 2023 issue.

"I don't have a next job. I don't have a home. I don't have a partner. I don't have a plan. I'm just completely open," Larson told the outlet.

While she did not touch on any details behind her split from Allan-Blitz, Larson elaborated in her chat with Harper's Bazaar on how her outlook on her future began to change as she entered her 30s.

"I had all the same normal fears as everybody else about being single and being 30," shared Larson. "What do I want? How does a family and a future fit in with my weird life?"

Before Allan-Blitz, the Scott Pilgrim vs. the World actress dated actor/musician Alex Greenwald. The two ended their relationship in January 2019, nearly three years after getting engaged following several years of dating.

“They have taken a step back from their engagement for the time being but they remain close,” a source told PEOPLE at the time of Larson and Greenwald, 44.

As of late, Larson has been lighting up awards season with her leading role in the Apple TV+ series Lessons in Chemistry, based on Bonnie Garmus' best-selling 2022 debut novel of the same name. Larson plays Elizabeth Zott, a cook, mother and accomplished chemist whose goal of being respected in the scientific community is thwarted at every turn in 1950s patriarchal society.

The role garnered her nominations for two Golden Globe Awards, a Screen Actors Guild Award and a Critics Choice Award, among others.

Larson also recently reprised her character Envy Adams in a voice role for Netflix's anime series Scott Pilgrim Takes Off, and appeared on the big screen last year in both The Marvels and Fast X.
