If Scott Pilgrim vs. the World seems like it was a blast to shoot, that's because it truly was. From Michael Cera to Anna Kendrick, every cast member who has spoken about their experience filming the cult classic has raved about how much fun and camaraderie they had while shooting.

In an interview with GQ, Cera reflected on the 2010 Edgar Wright–directed movie, saying, “It was so much fun all the time because we just had the greatest vibe with everybody. I think that trickled down from Edgar and the energy that he was creating. We all got to rehearse together and spend a lot of time together before we even started making the movie.”

The Superbad star was so invested in the project that when filming wrapped, he felt a little lost, he said. "By the end of the movie I felt like this is my world, this is my group of friends, it kinda feels like it’s always gonna be this way,” Cera recalled. “And, honestly, I kinda was a little depressed when we were done because it all just goes away. You’re like, ‘Where did everybody go?’ ”

Now, as we gear up for the upcoming Scott Pilgrim Takes Off animated series — coming out on Netflix on Nov. 17 — find out what the star-studded cast of Scott Pilgrim has been up to.

Playing the titular character was Michael Cera who, despite having made a career playing lovestruck nerds whose crushes are almost always unrequited, is actually happily married in real life.

Though he's kept his love life ultra-private, Cera, 35, reportedly married his longtime love, Nadine, in 2018. That March, the two were spotted out in Brooklyn wearing matching gold bands. They welcomed a baby boy sometime in 2021.

After Scott Pilgrim, Cera went on to star in This Is the End, Sausage Party, The Lego Batman Movie and many others. He also played the quirky George-Michael Bluth on Arrested Development from 2003 to 2019 and most recently, portrayed the beloved Allan in Greta Gerwig's summer blockbuster, Barbie.

"It was a small wedding for family and close friends," a source told PEOPLE at the time. "They had an outdoor ceremony. It was lovely and joyful. The menu was farm-to-table. They are an adorable couple. They are pretty low-key and like their canyon life. They often hike and go to the beach."

The two share son Laurie, whom they welcomed in June 2021

Long before portraying the eccentric Roman Roy on HBO's Succession, Kieran Culkin played Michael Cera's sidekick and quirky roommate in Scott Pilgrim vs. the World.

Since then, Culkin, 41, has maintained a relatively low profile, appearing in Fargo, Long Live the Royals and Robot Chicken before landing his Emmy-nominated HBO gig.

Culkin married his wife Jazz Charton while on a road trip in Iowa in 2013. On Sept. 13, 2019, they welcomed their first child, daughter Kinsey Sioux. Their son Wilder Wolf was born on Aug. 17, 2021.

Aubrey Plaza may have had a supporting role in the film, but the time she spent on set was enough that she and Michael Cera not only dated, but the pair even (jokingly) considered getting married.

"We almost just spontaneously took a detour and got married," the Juno actor told Rolling Stone. "I think the idea was to then get a divorce right away, so we could call each other 'my ex-husband' and 'my ex-wife' at like 20."

Of course, the pair never followed through with their cheeky plan as they respectively married other people. Plaza began seeing her now-husband Jeff Baena in 2011 and the two wed in 2021.

Professionally, the 39-year-old actress has also found much success. She was a mainstay in hit shows such as Parks & Recreation and The White Lotus and snagged roles in films such as Dirty Grandpa, Emily the Criminal and Mike and Dave Need Wedding Dates. She's currently on Broadway in Danny and the Deep Blue Sea.

Anna Kendrick played Scott Pilgrim's "passive-aggressive" sister, Stacey. And though she wound up nailing the part, Kendrick admitted she couldn't exactly see things the way Wright did prior to filming.

"I'll be honest when I read this script, I was like 'I don't totally get this, but I love Shaun of the Dead, I love Hot Fuzz' and I just wanted to work with Edgar Wright," she admitted to Vanity Fair. " But I do remember ... being like 'I don't know how this is going to work, but I'm just going to trust that he sees it.' Which he did and it's so awesome."

Kendrick, 38, has since become one of Hollywood's top leading ladies, starring in the Pitch Perfect franchise, Trolls, A Simple Favor and Alice, Darling. Most recently, she also made her directorial debut with Netflix's Woman of the Hour which premiered on the platform on Sept. 8.

These days, 34-year-old Larson has, of course, retired her microphone and helms the Marvel Cinematic Universe as Carol Danvers, a.k.a Captain Marvel. She's garnered some serious hardware for her talents, too, having won the Best Actress Academy Award for her role in Room in 2016. She's currently on AppleTV+'s Lessons in Chemistry.

Though we may know him as an Emmy-winning actor in front of the lens, Hader, 45, has had quite the impressive voice-acting career as well, with credits in The Angry Birds Movies, Bob's Burgers, Lightyear, The Addams Family 2, The Simpsons and many more.

Not only was Brandon Routh's Todd Ingram an ex-boyfriend of Ramona's, but he also had "superpowers" to make defeating him that much more complicated.

Routh, 44, has found more success in the superhero world. After guest starring as Ray Palmer, a.k.a. The Atom, in The CW's Arrow, he reprised the role, serving as one of the leads in the spinoff, DC Legends of Tomorrow, which ran from 2016 to 2021.

In his personal life, Routh has been married to his longtime love, Courtney Ford, since 2007, and the pair welcomed son Leo James in 2012.
