We cracked the algorithm for DISSH. They have grown 7X in the last 2 years. Here’s how we did it 👇 TL;DR 1. Channels 2. Locations 3. Creators 4. Diversification DISSH is a successful fashion brand in Australia that has been looking to go global. To take the bones of that success and turn it international we based their marketing around 5 things. 1. Channel Fashion trends start on TikTok, and bleed to Instagram. Any spend on other channels would have brought marginal results at best. We went to where fashion is, and we doubled down there. 2. Locations When starting the US entry we wanted a ripple effect. We wanted our ads to start trends that would move to the rest of the country. So we focused on the cities that lead the country in fashion: NY, LA, MIA. It would have been easier to make a splash in smaller, more central cities. But the splash wouldn’t have rippled to the more fashion-centered cities. We started at the top. 3. Creators Getting US creators to post with DISSH’s hashtags was essential. The right partnerships were key. And now #DisshHaul has 19.5 million views and #DisshTryOn has six million. The right creators make all the difference. 4. Diversification Paid media is the backbone of the expansion. But it can’t be the only thing. PR, media, influencer, and in-person activations were critical. This helps create a broader brand identity that will provide staying power. DISSH is an incredible brand that is going to take the US by storm. We are grateful to keep playing our part in their growth!

Really strong quarter for my client. They are an Aussie Ecommerce Supplement company. With 45% growth in revenue! Mainly Google ads but with some Meta, TikTok, email and Bing. Funnily enough the Roas is actually climbing… I always tell people the clients that I get the best results for are those that stick around the longest. They must also genuinely want to scale. Most people think they want to scale. But when things break they quickly back off. Things will break several times. You just need to know what to do to get things back on track. How you can get more referrals from your clients ⬇️ Ah, referrals. So beautiful right? There’s nothing more satisfying than being approached by a new client and they say they referred by another client 🙏 Tip 1 - Build trust and credibility amongst your pre-existing clients This works amazingly well. The reason? If your clients can rely on you to get the job done to the required quality and timeframe, they will refer others your way. You solve a problem for them, and you’ve already proven to your pre-existing clients that you can do just that. Tip 2 - Just ask! If you have a good relationship with your clients, there’s absolutely zero harm in asking if they’d mind referring people to you should the opportunity arise. You’d be surprised how happy people are to help you out! Tip 3 - Check up on past clients Check up on your past clients that you don’t work with! Quite often, even if they don’t end up working with you again, they’d still be happy to refer people to you. This is assuming that they’re past clients for a reason that isn’t negative 😂 but you get the gist. Follow up with old clients, hope they become clients again, and ask for referrals regardless! Just chatted to a founder who has developed a backpack currently selling for $450USD ($737NZD). The design is slick and has some really cool features, but would you pay that much for a backpack?? Unsurprisingly, conversion rates are low and they've had a few swing-and-a-miss attempts with agencies/freelancers trying to get paid ads working. Here's my idea: This needs to be a status play – The backpack becomes a symbol of success, prestige and luxury. This needs to be framed as "The Bugatti of Backpacks" The type worn by investors, entrepreneurs, C-Suite execs and high status individuals. Great marketing looks beyond just the functional utility of a product and appeals to emotions, desires and status shifts. #marketing #ecommerce #d2c

Hey Hey just wanted to jump in here with some of the marketing mistakes I see Tradies & Contractors making when it comes to marketing. 👉 5 Biggest Mistakes Carpenters make when it comes to marketing their business: 1 Not having a Lead Generation Strategy. Are you just relying on referrals from mates, other trades or recommendations from past clients? That's not a longer-term or consistent strategy for growth. This is the single most important thing in your business and will set you up for success or failure. 2 Not having a Website or paying a fortune for a website that does not convert. I've seen both of these. As a minimum you need to have a basic user friendly website for your business. If you dont it's hurting your business without you even realising. If you do have a fancy website that doesn't have the right call to actions then that's also hurting your business as opportunities are being missed. 3 Not having a Google My Business Profile that optimised and complete. Even better having a google photographer come out and take a photo of your factory so you can rank better in the maps section for your area. This will help a stack when people are googling your biz. 4 Not having an Instagram and Facebook for your business and posting on them regularly. These days most of your potential clients are checking you out on socials before they even call you out for a quote. If you don't have socials this is your sign to get started today. If you do its important to make sure you are posting valuable content. Such as images and videos on site, before and afters, talking to camera about materials, jobs, team, slow motion and time lags. 5 Not having a Database/CRM- Do you have a way of following up and remarketing to past clients, old leads, anyone who calls your business. If not you are missing out on potential business and $$ . Gone are the days when you can just rely on people calling you, you need to keep in touch and follow up. Don’t get caught up trying to find the cheapest deal for your website. If you’re sold on the results a good website can bring to your business, and you personally as a business owner, Why would you search for the cheapest option? You can always find someone who will build a site for $200, The issue with going with someone like that is they are guaranteed to be working with 6 - 7 other clients at the same time to be financially stable. Leading to far worse end results and a less personalized, thought out approach for your business. Meaning you’ll likely need to change your site again in a few weeks anyway. If you have the budget, find a web designer who understands the needs of your business and invest in them.
