  • Big dreams are inspiring, but they remain just that—dreams—until action is taken. The difference between those who dream and those who achieve is having the courage to take that first step, even when the path ahead feels uncertain. It’s not about having all the answers or the perfect plan; it’s about starting anyway. Every great achievement begins with someone bold enough to try, to learn, and to grow along the way. What’s one step you can take today to turn your vision into reality? Remember, courage is the spark that ignites success. 🌟

  • Setting a goal is just the first step. Real growth happens when you go beyond simply reaching it and challenge yourself to exceed it. It’s not about settling for “good enough”—it’s about pushing boundaries, striving for excellence, and discovering what’s truly possible. Exceeding your goals isn’t just a measure of success; it’s a reflection of your determination, resilience, and ability to grow through the process. Along the way, you unlock potential, gain confidence, and inspire those around you to aim higher too. What’s one goal you’re ready to surpass in 2025?

  • True leadership isn’t about words, titles, or authority—it’s about the actions you take every single day. The choices you make, the integrity you show, and the commitment you bring to your work set the tone for everyone around you. When you lead by example, you don’t just guide—you inspire. You show others what’s possible, encouraging them to step up and be their best. It’s not about telling people what to do; it’s about showing them how it’s done and creating a ripple effect of motivation, accountability, and growth. This kind of leadership builds trust and credibility. It empowers teams to take ownership, fuels collaboration and fosters a culture where everyone feels inspired to contribute. It’s in the small, consistent actions—how you handle challenges, support others, and stay true to your values—that your leadership truly shines. So, as you approach each day, ask yourself: What example am I setting? How are my actions inspiring those around me to grow, lead, and succeed? Strive to be the kind of leader whose actions speak louder than words. Create environments where people feel valued, empowered, and driven to achieve great things.

  • Growth is about more than just hitting targets or achieving short-term wins—it’s about discovering and unlocking the incredible potential that lies within each of us. Performance may reflect what we’re capable of in the moment, but potential shows what’s truly possible when we push past our limits and step into our full power. When coaching, we've seen this time and again—when individuals stop focusing solely on performing and start focusing on unlocking their potential, everything changes. New opportunities arise, confidence grows, and the impact they can make becomes limitless. This shift isn’t just about personal growth; it’s about creating a ripple effect. When you embrace your potential, it inspires those around you to do the same, building stronger teams, organizations, and communities. So, ask yourself: Are you simply performing, or are you unlocking your potential?

  • Jacqui's Journey with Our 10-Week Goal-Setting Tool 🌱✨ This week marks the start of a new life journey for me (Jacqui). I've set a “challenging” 10-week goal: Creating healthier habits that align with my values...and I stopped smoking! 💪 I’ve smoked for ages, over half my life - when you could smoke inside, holding kids and they only cost $8 a pack - in return, smoking influenced every part of my life! So to break the old habits - I’ll be setting myself new goals/tasks each week and at the end of the 10 weeks, we can recap on all the cool things I’ve accomplished! Anyway, last week was the week and these were the wee goals/tasks I set myself to kick off. In Week One, I: 🌟 Went to an appointment with a hypnotherapist to help me break my smoking habit. It was great! And has worked! 👟 Treated myself to new walking shoes. 🌱 Spent hours in our maara kai. Smoking took up heaps of my time! Like lots, so I'm forced to replace my old habit with some new but old activities like exercise and spending time in the maara. The results have been pretty awesome already: ✔️ Cleaning - Everything needs cleaning now, especially my clothes, poo! ✔️ Drinking more water = glowing skin and less eczema! ✔️ Eating nutritious kai has made my mind clearer - probably spending similar amounts of money, but kai tastes way better! Let’s look at how Pito'Enua is working for me in terms of this first week: Oe - My husband and I are paddling in the same direction. He’s joined me in giving up smoking, legend!✊ Our tamariki are also paddling hard for us, they’re so stoked we’ve made this decision 😍 Kie - Lots of reframing happening this week, and trying to change my thoughts to influence my actions. Vaka - As well as nourishing our tinana, we’ve started playing Pokémon GO and geocaching with the tamariki, turning our outings into fun, active adventures! 🏞️✨ Ama - Being in the maara and connecting with our taiao/environment has been awesome for our wairua! 🍃 Ka’a - You need so much resilience to give up smoking. Will probably write about that more another day! Cos everyday is a draaaaaaaaaag right now! Aorangi - Cleaning and washing this week! Creating an environment that doesn’t remind me of smoking both by sight and also smell! If I then look at Te Korekoreka, I’ve embraced all the realms this week, experiencing moments of potential, chaos, and clarity. This process reminds me that change is dynamic and expansive. If you’re on your own journey of breaking old habits, I’d love to hear about it. I'm always keen to cheer each other on! 🙌 #PitoEnua #GoalSetting #TeKorekoreka #LevelUp

  • Your goals are just the starting point. Often, we limit ourselves by dreaming only as far as we can see, but the truth is, with the right mindset, support, and tools, you can achieve more than you ever thought possible. As a coaching organisation, we’ve seen how taking that first bold step towards a dream can open doors to even greater possibilities. It’s about expanding your vision, breaking through barriers, and realising that the only limits are the ones you place on yourself. Whether it’s in your personal life, career, or business, dreaming bigger doesn’t just create bigger goals—it creates bigger opportunities, bigger confidence, and a bigger

  • How many times have we looked at something and thought, "That’s impossible"? Yet, history proves time and again that what seems impossible is simply something no one has tried—or dared to believe in—yet. Take the moon landing, for example. In 1961, when President John F. Kennedy set the goal to land a man on the moon by the end of the decade, it seemed unimaginable. Yet, on July 20, 1969, Neil Armstrong and Buzz Aldrin walked on the moon, proving that "impossible" is just a challenge waiting to be overcome. Or consider the four-minute mile. For decades, it was believed to be physically impossible for a human to run a mile in under four minutes. But on May 6, 1954, Roger Bannister broke that barrier, running the mile in 3:59.4. Within a year, others achieved the same feat, showing that breaking limits starts with belief. Even in recent times, the rise of renewable energy seemed impossible to scale globally. Yet innovators like Elon Musk have revolutionized the industry, proving that bold ideas like widespread electric vehicles and solar energy adoption are not only possible—they’re transformative. "Impossible" is just a word for something untried. The breakthroughs of yesterday were once someone’s impossible dream. The same can be true for us. Remember, every great achievement begins with the courage to try.

  • Another model we use in our coaching practice is Te Korekoreka, developed from the wisdom of Matiaha Tiramōrehu. This remarkable framework provides an innovative mātauraka Māori approach to transforming the way we think and work 🍃 Here’s feedback from one of the wāhine who attended the Oceania Football Confederation conference, reflecting on how Te Korekoreka resonated with her during our Level Up Workshop: "This workshop helped me demystify the difficult ordeals or difficult moments that I just can't seem to get past. It's normal, it's the process, the cycle we all go through. It helps me to ask myself the right questions and to be able to imagine or project a future. Identifying the stages helps me to move forward." Neat eh?! We think so too! We are always grateful to our Kāi Tahu whanauka Tokona Te Raki for allowing us to use this magic in our mahi ✨ check out the journey here: www.tekorekoreka.co.nz #TeKorekoreka #PitoEnua #WāhineToa #Teamwork #TePaeTauārai #FuturesForIndigenous #LevelUp #OFC #FIFA #MoanaNuiAKiwa

  • ✨ At Te Pae Tauārai, we use the Pito 'Enua Wellbeing Model in our Level Up workshop. The first dimension we focus on is the Oe/Paddle—because no one paddles alone! 🌊 You can have more than one kai oe/paddler supporting you, but the key is paddling in harmony. When everyone works together, you create the momentum needed to accelerate towards your destination. 🚣♀️💨 Check out this awesome video of our wāhine playing paper, scissors, rock to gain more paddlers for their vaka! It’s the perfect reminder that the journey can be fun too! 🥰✨ #PitoEnua #WāhineToa #Teamwork #TePaeTauārai #FuturesForIndigenous #LevelUp #OFC #FIFA #WomensFootball #WahineToa #MoanaNuiAKiwa #Connections
