Smart Cable Guard featured in Eurelectric report We are thrilled to announce that Smart Cable Guard has been highlighted in Euroelectric's latest report, "Technologies supporting grids for speed." This report showcases innovative solutions for optimizing grid operations, and Smart Cable Guard is featured as part of a case study with our customer, Alliander. ➤ The case study discusses how closed ring operation can optimize grid topology at the 10kV and 20kV voltage levels, making more capacity available and allowing more customers to be connected. ➤ Smart Cable Guard plays a crucial role in this process by accurately locating faults, which traditional fault detectors struggle in networks with two-sided short-circuit power supply. ➤ Smart Cable Guard has made closed ring operation possible, allowing Alliander to increase grid capacity and also support the DSO with investment savings or deferrals. DNV has issued a Statement of Feasibility for the Tugdock Submersible Platform (TSP)—a groundbreaking technology addressing the challenge of inadequate port infrastructure in the floating wind industry. Through our Technology Qualification (TQ) process, DNV helps innovative solutions like TSP demonstrate their safety, efficiency, and performance, even when pre-existing standards are lacking. By identifying potential risks early, we support faster, cost-effective market access. Tugdock TSP showcases how robust qualification can drive the energy transition forward.
