NewJaisa Technologies, Vishesh Handa Folks, never buy a product from these guys, The products they sell are one next to garbage, and they don't even have proper quality control, they don't test the product before dispatching, and customer service is beyond worse. They suck your time, energy, money and do nothing. They can dispatch machines with out testing and can dispatch without power, display cables too. And you would be starved calling and asking these 3rd grade customer service folks, where they attribute the mistake to someone else with in their team. Such 3rd grade ppl at helm, certainly run by equally 3rd grade management. Never ever buy a product from these folks. BTW, unlike the west world, refurbished in India means Garbage assembly. At least Vishesh Handa proved me, how effectively he can sell garbage in a nicely packaged box. Its buyers disgrace not sellers. I pity its investors who bought NewJaisa Technologies shares in SME platform. Disgraceful products, service and experience. Bottomline, Ignore NewJaisa Technologies and anything run by Vishesh Handa

Tech tumbles..some reality checks Bummer! The tech industry has recently been facing harsh reality checks. Take the case of Nvidia and the latest victim of startups, Koo. Nividia stocks, which were enjoying a remarkable surge were recently downgraded to a “neutral rating” highlighting persistent valuation issues. This downgrade happened despite an impressive 154% rise in Nvidia stocks and the launch of its new ChatGPT-like tool (The good news is that they are back on track now). In another unfortunate turn of events, the Indian startup Koo (considered the Indian equivalent of Twitter) has hit a rough patch. Despite gaining significant traction since its launch in 2020 and being endorsed by bigwigs, Koo has struggled due to failed partnerships, integration issues, and funding challenges. The company's decision to lay off employees last year might have been the beginning of the end. So, what do these events tell us? Whether it’s a well-established company or a startup, no one is immune to market fluctuations, investor sentiment, consumer engagement, or industry dynamics. This underlines the need for businesses to focus on innovation, have an X-factor (pun not intended), and distinctive selling propositions, or USPs to succeed in this highly competitive IT ecosystem. Why are some VC's so rude? Why do the so called top guys post insulting message blasts to Founders on LinkedIn? How do they think this helps them and how come many Founders still choose to like their posts and write strange things like... 'true dat bro'.. Most people will know, that I have an uncomfortable relationship with VC's. I find their constant over indulgence in themselves nauseating, especially given skill levels and performance of most of them.... It just does not stack up under review. I find they just hang out in their little echo chambers with their fan boys to receive admiration from people desperate for money, while refusing to engage in any kind of outside debate. Why are many so obnoxious that everyone who does not need them, dislikes them? A good friend of mine shed some light on that this week, when he was telling me to leave these poor people alone.. which again I find staggering based on the way they speak to others... But his take was.... and he is friends with many.... 'It is a marketing strategy'.. This perplexed me some what - so I asked for more info.... Basically (apparently) it will attract investors and make sure they look like they are serious about getting good investments for their portfolios and will not waste time with poor Founders who not want to return 100x their capital or whatever. They get 2% management fee, they want more AUM and this is their strategy to get it... I scratched my head a bit at this... How can being disliked by most people really help this? Firstly, it means that you will only ever get the opportunity to invest with people who are willing to take your cr@p as desperate. That generally counts out people who are more mature and have already been successful, so not sure that will help your portfolio. Secondly these guys need bankers etc later on for their IPO's and these people will probably dislike them to. Their portfolio needs clients and most the big business people find these VC guys pretty unpalatable too. I know this as attend many Chatham House Rule events and I am also often praised for standing up to this. I think they know it also, as never attend any events outside the start up bubble. I also worked with many Family Offices and they are often lovely people who would not be turned on by this type of brash arrogance, based on very little. If it is their strategy, I believe it is a terrible one and part of the reason for the sectors shortcomings. I replied well, it is my strategy to say whatever nearly everyone else thinks and it is helping our business significantly :) Have a great weekend all.

Chronologists like Nilesh or Vedaveer, Saroja or Jayasree continue propagating exaggerated chronologies of birth of Rama (12209 BCE or 5114 BCE) or date of Kurukṣetra War (5561 BCE or 3000-3200 BCE) because not even once they have come to terms with the longevity problem of Parasurama, Hanumat, Markandeya, Durvasa, Jambavat, Mainda, Dvividha, Vibhishana, Vaisravana and others who was part of the lives of both Rama and Pandavas (or with people in the generation of both Rama and Pandavas). If they truly understand this, they cannot separate Rama and Pandavas beyond around 100 years. Lack of proper comparitive analysis between Rgveda, Ramayana and Mahabharata is what result into exaggerated chronologies. There are two excuses given:- Parasurama, Hanumat, Markandeya, Durvasa, Jambavat, Mainda, Dvividha, Vibhishana, Vaisravana etc. lived for thousands of years! As per Nilesh Oak's date, they should live from 12209 BCE to 5561 BCE! As per Vedaveer Arya and others they should live from 5114 BCE to 3000-3200 BCE. This reduce Indian chronology to pure fiction. Thus we cannot teach the history of Rama or Pandavas as part of Indian history. There were two sets of Parasurama, Hanumat, Markandeya, Durvasa, Jambavat, Mainda, Dvividha, Vibhishana, Vaisravana etc, one set living with Rama and another set living with Pandavas! As per Nilesh Oak's date, one set should live in 12209 BCE and the set should live in 5561 BCE! As per Vedaveer Arya and others one set should live in 5114 BCE and the other set should live in 3000-3200 BCE. This is as absurd as the first set. Thus we cannot teach the history of Rama or Pandavas as part of Indian history. Our chronology of Rama Era (1950-1850 BCE) and Pandava Era (1850-1750 BCE) eliminates this anomaly of people living for thousands of years and creating duplicate photo copies of same people for Rama and Pandavas. It also aligns with the fact that both Rama and Pandavas used same kind of horse driven chariots, chaturanga armies with elephants and weapons made of copper, bronze and iron. It aligns with the fact that Rama and Santanu are contemporary to the 10th Maṇḍala of Rgveda. It aligns with the fact that Kurujangala named after king Kuru is mentioned in Ramayana as contemporary to Rama, making Rama's lifetime as later to Kuru's lifetime, just like Santanu's lifetime is later to Kuru's lifetime. It aligns with the fact that Pandava grandfather Vyasa is the great grandson of Vasistha the priest of Dasaratha and Rama. It aligns with the fact that Parasara the grandson of Rama's priest and Santanu married the same woman Satyavati and she begat both Vyasa and Vichitravirya as the next generation.

Being aware of competition is critical. This is true for any business and software products / services businesses are not an exception. Sometimes small/mid size software businesses are not aware of their real competitors. The founder might tell you the names of a few leading companies in the same category whereas those may not be the competitors who are actually pipping them at the post. The real competitors are most likely, companies of similar size and scale that target similar clients. If you are aware of the real competition, the next step is to find how they are different from you. They might actually be better than you and its good to be aware of that, instead of being in the "we are the best" world. The quest to determine competitive differentiation will yield data on where your competitors score better than you and vice versa.
