AWS Users Group Bengaluru May Meet-up ✅ I can say that joining the AWS User Group Bengaluru has been one of the highlights in 2024 for me. It's an amazing group where in every meet-up, I get introduced with new learnings. This month meet-up happened today in which all three sessions were amazing and quite eventful. Key Highlights for May month Meet-Up: 1) How to build the chatbot(using Amazon Lex) and integrate with a website hosted on Cloudfront: 💡I was introduced to Amazon Lex, an Amazon Web Services (AWS) service that allows the publishing of voice or text chatbots with automatic scaling capabilities. This service seems interesting to me and I will deep dive into this. Thanks Vijayaraghavan (Vijay) Vashudevan for this amazing session👏 2) DevSecOps in the Era of AI/ML model development with JFrog and AWS Sagemaker: 💡This session helped me to understand how important compliance and security is in the field of DevOps and MLOps. I learned about JFrog Artifactory’s support for ML models and its ability to proxy Hugging Face, a leading model hub. This is very intriguing and grabbed my attention to go in detail. Thanks Prakriti Vishwakarma for this amazing session👏 3) Test Driven Delivery of Infrastructure as Code(IaC): 💡 As someone currently working with IaC, this session was particularly relevant. It highlighted the importance of test-driven delivery to streamline the application development lifecycle through infrastructure testing with tools like InSpec or Terratest. Thanks to Kamalika Majumder for giving us comprehensive overview of explaining both Modularity Tests (unit tests) and Provisioner Tests (integration tests) as well as delivering detailed knowledge about that and also for smooth hands-on. Kudos👏 to the AWS User Group Bengaluru for consistently organizing such enriching events💡. Instantiation: Spring creates a new instance of the bean. 2. Dependency Injection: Spring injects dependencies into the bean. 3. Initialization OR CUSTOM Initialisation:     a) PostConstruct annotation: Spring calls the @PostConstruct method to perform initialization tasks.                      OR     b) InitializingBean interface: Spring calls the afterPropertiesSet() method (if the bean implements InitializingBean). 4. Bean is ready to use: The bean is now fully initialized and can be used by the application using application context. 6. Destruction:     A) PreDestroy ANNOTATION: Spring calls the @PreDestroy method to perform cleanup tasks.               OR     B) DisposableBean INTERFACE: Spring calls the destroy() method (if the bean implements DisposableBean). 7. Bean is destroyed: The bean is removed from the application context and is no longer available.

𝐁𝐞 𝐇𝐎𝐍𝐄𝐒𝐓: Honesty is the best policy whether it is at work or home and is the one version of information that you need to hold with at any point of time. 𝐀𝐛𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐭𝐨 𝐬𝐚𝐲 '𝐍𝐎': This is an art and I still struggle at times to say NO. But I have come a long way from where I started and continue to improve on this aspect. Believe me this will save a lot of confusion and efforts if we can master this. 𝐅𝐀𝐌𝐈𝐋𝐘 ( 𝐄𝐜𝐨𝐬𝐲𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐦): It is very important to have a good work-life balance, after all we earn to make our family happy which will make us more happier. Try to spend some quality time at home and this will boast your mind and help come back to office every day to work 𝐖𝐎𝐑𝐊-𝐎𝐔𝐓 ( 𝐄𝐱𝐞𝐫𝐜𝐢𝐬𝐞 ): In this sedentary life, working out is a mandate to restore mental and physical peace. A walk or a jog or some stretching exercises doesn't do any harm. 𝐌𝐚𝐤𝐞 𝐬𝐨𝐦𝐞 𝐠𝐨𝐨𝐝 𝐅𝐑𝐈𝐄𝐍𝐃𝐒 𝐚𝐭 𝐰𝐨𝐫𝐤 : When at work its always nice to catch up with some friends over lunch for a tea/fag( i am a passive smoker ) break to un-wind some interesting inputs and conversations related to work and other stuff like movies/politics etc. 𝐇𝐎𝐁𝐁𝐈𝐄𝐒 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐯𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐢𝐥𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧: Pick one or two hobbies of your interest to vent out all the negative energy and convert into positivity. 𝐂𝐎𝐍𝐕𝐄𝐑𝐒𝐀𝐓𝐈𝐎𝐍𝐀𝐋 : There is no harm in being conversational , as this creates more space and commonality for the others to interact . the more you talk the more people will get to know you and helps building your network.
