That is a wrap for 2024 ! Every butterfly was once a caterpillar , every caterpillar must be willing to make that choice, which is both painful and discomforting, to become a butterfly. Then they fly to freedom, beauty, purpose, towards the sky! This was my focus as a Key note speaker on "Metamorphosis to Leadership" at the #ICTAGlobalConference in the serene landscape of Kanha Shantivanam , Hyderabad in November '24. Navigating this transformative journey, the emotions, the tasks, the dilemmas, the recalibration – I have been a witness to these journeys of transformation, in its myriad hues, as a leadership coach enabling leaders make that choice -painful yet purposeful and be successful. The most challenging recalibration is - So then what is success? Can we use the same yardstick for every level of leadership? What would successful leadership look like if we look beyond money and power? On Nov 16/17th I shared the stage with other speakers sharing their thoughts, stories, lived experiences on Authentic leadership, Visionary Leadership, Women in Leadership , Future of leadership, Neuroscience in leadership, Resilient leadership and more. All this peppered with meditative and healing practices between the talks as well. Many mistake empathy for simply feeling sorry for someone, but it’s much deeper. True empathy is understanding another’s perspective, sharing their emotions and validating their experiences without judgment.
