It was a privilege to represent Indra in #UNCOP16 in #Riyadh by the United Nations Convention to Combat Desertification and وزارة البيئة والمياه والزراعة (Ministry of Environment, Water and Agriculture, Government of Saudi Arabia). Saudi Arabia's sustainability goals are impressive - ensuring protection of 30% of its land and oceans by 2030, building a sustainable economy, and achieving net zero emissions by 2060. It was amazing to witness the strong involvement of academia, particularly KAUST (King Abdullah University of Science and Technology) to drive innovations in water and food security, waste circularity, and carbon capture in partnership with industry and startups. Mankind's biggest challenges with respect to #environmental pollution, #desertification, #food and #water security are deeply inter-connected. Indra is committed to doing its part to build water security by effectively treating wastewater for #reuse at the point of source. It is important to note that a large portion of our #agricultural water needs can be met through #reuse of #treated water. What a vibrant week it was in Gujarat!✨ We were delighted to unveil our electrical wastewater treatment solution in association with our authorized partner Raybon Chemicals & Allied Products at the Dahej Industrial Expo from 20th to 22nd November. Together, we showcased how ElectroX can remove pollutants like COD, ammoniacal nitrogen, and silica, among others. Also, got an opportunity to illustrate how we can help the local industries meet discharge norms while ensuring maximum water recovery. 💧🌊 The enthusiasm of local entrepreneurs towards our innovative treatment was both rewarding and inspiring. We were honored to get invited to the Decarbonization Workshop organized by Intellecap (Aavishkaar Group) for the suppliers of Circular Apparel Innovation Factory (CAIF) on 7th November in Tirupur, Tamil Nadu. The event provided us an excellent platform to showcase how our wastewater treatment modules help clients offset freshwater needs while significantly reducing chemical usage and sludge generation.
