Cairn Community Games is a volunteer-led, child-focused, not-for-profit organisation based in communities in Ireland.

About us

The aim of Community Games is to encourage and introduce a love of sport and culture. Community Games is an independent voluntary organisation, operating in local communities throughout Ireland. The organisation aims to provide opportunities for children and young people aged 6-16 years to develop active healthy lives in a safe environment through experiencing a wide range of sporting and cultural activities. Community spirit and cooperation is fostered and encouraged. The Organisation believes that every young person should have the opportunity to take part in sports and art in their local community and grow up understanding how good it makes you feel when you are active and healthy. The organisation caters for children aged 6-16 years throughout Ireland. The activities are divided into two categories - individual and team. Individual events include Art, Model Making, Cycling, Gymnastics, Swimming, Judo, Athletics track and field events - specifically Shot Putt, Discus, Javelin, Hurdles, Ball Throw, Long Jump and Cycling. Team events include Badminton, Basketball, Camogie, Chess, Choir, Draughts, Debating, Futsal, Gaelic Football, Handball, Hurling, Rounders, Rugby, Tag Rugby, Soccer (Indoor & Outdoor), Spikeball, Table Tennis, Table Quiz, Pitch & Putt and of course all the Talent Events! www.communitygames.ie
