On November 12, Patrice Caine, Chairman and CEO of Thales, had the honour of welcoming NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte at our Gennevilliers site. This visit highlighted the strong partnership between Thales and NATO, which has spanned over 50 years. We presented Thales's latest innovations in secure communications, air defence, and Al - key technologies that align with NATO's strategic objectives for resilience and security in today's high-intensity conflict landscape. 🇫🇷 Thales and Exail are proud to support the French Navy's next-generation mine countermeasures capabilities! In partnership with Exail, Thales has been selected by the French defence procurement agency (DGA) to deliver 8, with an option for 8 additional, Autonomous Underwater Vehicles (AUVs) for the SLAMF programme. This initiative, aimed at renewing the French Navy's mine warfare capabilities, leverages unmanned technology to enhance safety and efficiency in maritime operations.
