Training and education make up one of our core tenets at Galderma. Through the Galderma Aesthetic Injector Network (GAIN) platform, we deliver best-in-class training on the latest trends, technologies and techniques in aesthetics. In 2024 alone, we trained over 88,000 practitioners at the more than 8,000 events we hosted around the world. And this year, we’ve raised the bar. By aligning GAIN with our groundbreaking trend report, NEXT by Galderma, we are helping injectors adapt to new and emerging trends, meet evolving patient demands – and continue delivering exceptional results. As the demand for aesthetic treatments continues to grow worldwide, we remain committed to bridging the gap between insight and practice. It’s one of the key ways that we deliver on our purpose: advancing dermatology for every skin story. We are very proud to share the news that our novel biologic has received approval from the United States (U.S.) Food and Drug Administration (FDA) for the treatment of moderate-to-severe #AtopicDermatitis in patients 12 years of age and older, marking its second U.S. approval this year, and further expanding the impact of our Therapeutic Dermatology franchise. Approximately 7% of the U.S. population live with this condition, which has a significant negative impact on their lives. Atopic dermatitis is commonly characterized by uncomfortable skin lesions and persistent itch, which the majority of patients consider one of the most problematic symptoms of the disease. “What is the most surprising, impactful, or motivating story a patient has told you about their experience with itch or itch resolution?” We presented this question to the healthcare professionals who visited our interactive ‘Centering On Itch’ booth at European Academy of Dermatology and Venereology's 2024 congress. We were overwhelmed to receive more than 1,500 responses. Their insights were reviewed and interpreted by an artist to create this powerful mural, depicting some of the ways that itch or itch resolution have impacted the lives of people with diseases like atopic dermatitis and prurigo nodularis. We want to thank everyone involved in bringing this piece to life, as well as all of the doctors who contributed their insights towards the creation of this artwork. It is a striking reminder of the impact itch can have on patients living with these debilitating skin conditions. #EADV2024 #SkinScienceByGalderma

In this video, Prof. Sarina Elmariah shares her experience, as a dermatologist and itch specialist, on the burden of itch. #SkinScienceByGalderma
