Meeting the needs of our patients is the most rewarding responsibility for our region. But often, it’s also our greatest challenge. A recent McKinsey article showed that in Latin America, #healthcare remains inaccessible for far too many. According to the article, 62% of people reported deferring medical care due to cost and accessibility in the past year. This includes critical health services like vaccinations, blood tests and imaging, which play a significant role in our ability to prevent and treat chronic diseases like #cardiovasculardisease and #cancer – two growing epidemics that disproportionately impact low and middle-income communities.    Creating more sustainable and accessible care is critical to reversing the course and providing some relief to already strained healthcare systems. In LACan, we’re driving change by devising access routes that are as innovative as our medicines, supporting more patient-centric healthcare delivery models that understand and accommodate patients in our countries. Building a healthcare legacy for the future requires collective commitment. Through collaboration and public-private partnerships across LACan, we are working with civil society, policymakers, patient organizations, healthcare stakeholders and partners inside and outside the pharmaceutical industry to support synergistic strategies that help more people overcome the complex barriers they face for the care they need. The recent three-day face-to-face in Madrid with the International Markets leadership team was nothing short of inspiring. We took a step back to reflect on our journey so far, including 3+ years of continuous growth, and set our sights on what’s to come. The energy in the room was contagious as we mapped out our key milestones, sparking dynamic conversations. What really stood out was the passion and drive from everyone in the room. It was more than just aligning on our business and our part in Teva Pharmaceuticals' #PivotToGrowth strategy - it was about reconnecting with one another, reigniting our collective purpose, and getting excited about the path ahead. This year has brought its challenges, but this gathering reminded us of the power of partnership and what we can achieve when we work together - across regions, across markets, and toward a shared vision of growth. We’re heading into 2025 with a renewed sense of purpose, and I can’t wait to see how we’ll continue to push forward, together. What about if an single event, we would be able to organize the launch of our next three molecules in our oncology portfolio?. It was the question that Ingrid Oliver our oncology and H&E BUD asked to Synthon México leadership Team. This is how Best Oncologists Symposium (#BOS) by Synthon México. Was thought and created. This event not only represented a milestone in the history of our company, but also reaffirmed our commitment to our patients and the advancement in access to the treatment of different types of cancer. During the symposium, we had the honor of having the participation as speakers of Drs. Dra. Elena Élez, Medical Oncologist/researcher at the Vall d'Ebron Institut d'Oncologia de Barcelona Spain, Dr. German Calderillo, Medical Oncologist/researcher at the INCAN CDMX, Mexico, Dr. Ernesto Maturana, Medical Oncologist at the Red Salud Cancer Institute and Sotero del Rio Hospital, Santiago de Chile. And as coordinator, Dr. María del Consuelo Diaz, Medical Oncologist/researcher at INCAN. Their lectures not only highlighted the efficacy, safety and benefits of Biocomparable and bioequivalent products, but also fostered an enriching dialogue about the future of oncology. In addition to scientific presentations, these meetings are essential to continue advancing our mission of improving the quality of life of patients through effective, safe and cost-saving oncological treatments. At #BOS we announced our new launches intended to treat specific types of cancer such as prostate, colon and kidney cancer. These three types of cancer represent a significant economic burden globally as well as in Mexico: Avitosyn (Abiraterone), Simbiva (Bevacizumab), and (Axitinib), not only represent our commitment to developing products of the highest European quality for safety and efficacy, but also offer important cost-effectiveness benefits. Being generic and biocomparable treatments, our products allow the health budgets of both government and private institutions. By adding this new products to our high specliazed growing portfolio, we can provide greater choice to physicians and patients whilst offering the potential for significant cost-saving across healthcare System in Mexico. At Synthon México 🇲🇽, are proud to see how our R&D pourpuse has translated into real benefits for patients. This event not only validated our dedication and commiment, also reinforced the importance of collaboration and working together to address one of the most significant challenges in modern medicine. The launch of our new oncology products at #BOS not only met our expectations, but by far exceeded them. We are convinced that our treatments presented will make a significant difference in access to and treatment of cancer, and will benefit a greater number of patients. I truly believe that what unites people is a shared purpose. Attending my first LATAM Sales Convention in Panama last week truly brought that belief to life again. This annual event gathers all five Merz Aesthetics Latam markets—Argentina, Brazil, Colombia, DPB LATAM, and Mexico—under one roof. What unites such a diverse group, with distinct backgrounds, different languages, and countless cities of origin, is a shared purpose: helping people look better, feel better, and live better. This is incredibly powerful. Our purpose drives everyone at Merz Aesthetics, and our sales team is at the forefront of this mission. During the five days of the event, our sales force underwent intensive training and sharing of best practices – all with a clear purpose: to be the best in serving our customers. I’d like to highlight the lecture given by Cafu, one of the most successful soccer players of all time and the captain of Brazil’s team when they won their fifth World Cup championship in 2002. Cafu shared his story of resilience, emphasizing the importance of being motivated by the right reasons and how passion fuels the best results. I felt especially inspired because he shares some of the same values as Merz Aesthetics: commitment, integrity, and leadership. This #WorldImmunizationWeek, I started with a visit to Cali, also known as “the capital of salsa music” and a significant economic powerhouse in Colombia. My travel through Siloé, one of Cali’s comunas marked by high levels of inequality, served as a reminder of the contrasts that exist in the world. Despite great progress in global immunization: ↳ 20 million children miss one or more vaccines ↳ 1 in 5 kids are not fully covered by vaccination ↳ Significant gaps in access still exist Worldwide, immunization efforts: ✅ Prevent 3.5 to 5 million deaths annually ✅ Achieved eradication of smallpox & nearly defeated polio, measles, and rubella ✅ Avert $1.5 trillion in illness costs in 2011-2030 As MSD Colombia, we are committed: 1️⃣ To supplying 8 essential vaccines to the country 2️⃣ To partnering on reducing gaps in vaccination access and on executing awareness campaigns 3️⃣ To protecting over 3 million Colombians with our vaccines in 2024! Good news! Teva has launced a new program that donates vital medicines to underserved communities in El Salvador. Working in collaboration with Americares and FUSAL, this effort aims to expand patients' access to a #HealthyFuture. In El Salvador, many patients face significant barriers that prevent them from getting the treatments they need. Through this program, we are addressing critical health needs related to cardiovascular diseases, diabetes, respiratory illnesses and pain and palliative care. Our goal is to bring hope and healing to those who need it most. This program joins seven others providing treatments to underserved populations worldwide, and we are proud to have reached our goal of launching eight access to medicines programs by 2025 ahead of schedule. Programs like this are a testament to our commitment to #HealthEquity. By working closely with our partners, we deliver customized, localized solutions that truly make a difference. This is a good reflection if we want to drive change in healthcare. We’ve seen how diabetes treatment has evolved in recent years, but we also know there are still unmet needs and much more to be done. Currently in Latin America, more than 33 million adults live with diabetes and about half of them are undiagnosed. In Novo Nordisk LATAM we are committed to improving the quality of life for patients. Insightful post on the luxury brand paradox. It got me thinking that in pharma/biotech brand positioning there is a similar paradox. New Brands almost too desperately and overtly seek to establish an emotional connection with physicians at the outset without understanding the work required to obtain it. Every Brand wants to establish an emotional connection. ❤️ ✅ It's consistently delivering on an important functional benefit that puts you on the road to establishing an emotional connection. 🛣 ✅ It's a road that takes some time to establish the connection. Last Harris Poll on the subject showed that brands that "owned" an emotional connection were on average on the market for almost a decade. ⏳ ✅ It's granted by the customers. Foisting upon physicians an emotion absence of experience only engenders antibodies to your messaging and brand positioning. 🤝 Yes, it's critical to establish an emotional connection, but this has to be earned over time and granted by the customer. 🎯

I am pleased to share that we have launched a new program to donate medicines to under-served communities in El Salvador. Working in collaboration with Americares and FUSAL, this initiative upholds our belief that everyone, regardless of their circumstances, deserves access to a #HealthyFuture.   Latin America is a key region for Teva International Markets, and I am proud that we can help address the significant health challenges in El Salvador. The country's healthcare system is under immense strain, with limited access to services and insufficient medical infrastructure.   Our program will focus on reaching patients living in poverty in two central cities, San Salvador and Santa Tecla. We will donate medicines to treat critical health needs related to cardiovascular diseases, diabetes, respiratory illnesses, pain and palliative care.
