About us

StillArt’s goal is to help ambitious leaders in the arts reach bigger audiences, grow earned income, stabilize operations, and pursue greater artistic freedom for their organization. Our current signatory service is Subscription Builder, with which we aim to dramatically increase the base of traditional fixed-seat, fixed-performance subscribers for our partners. To date, we have been able to help a dozen organizations consistently sell out whole seasons. Our focus is more and more turning to help our clients that are now sold out benefit from the situation more broadly by tapping into new fundraising, sponsorship, public funding and strategic development opportunities. We are a network of a dozen people, with half of us working with clients and the other half working administratively behind the curtain. We work intensely with approximately ten performing arts organizations annually.

    DENMARK! I'm excited to share that StillArt is starting operations in Denmark. Next week we start looking for partners for our Danish (- Swedish) Production Network. If you are, or happen to know, a passionate and skilled professional for any of the following positions, please do let me know: - Client Campaign Manager (in marketing agencies often called project managers) coordinating the campaigns - Copywriter - Designer - Printer - Call center We mainly do Direct Marketing in print, which is very different from classical (adverts, posters) or digital (newsletters, SoMe) marketing, so experience in these processes is a big plus. You will work in a multi-lingual community with English as main language, but depending on the position you also need to have excellent Danish (Swedish) skills (written/ oral). We work 99% remotely (Teams, Zoom). StillArt has very clear and successful processes and concepts which you need to be willing to learn and master before you start improving on them. The StillArt Project Manager (in charge of consulting, budgeting, the overall annual process) is your boss and to get into the StillArt concepts you will (especially in the beginning) work closely with our Lead Client Campaign Manager/ Copywriter and Designer. We expect a high level of personal responsibility to get great work done on time and ability to communicate proactively and constructively with several stakeholders (both within StillArt and with our dear Clients). The job is probably best suited for free lancers or agencies, because the workload is very heavy January-June with almost no work July-September and only occasional October-December. We can, however, discuss year round employment. We have a few campaigns for 2025 but potentially massive projects for a couple of years after that. We can offer good pay, an international work environment, a possibility to grow both personally and professionally, to work with very exciting Clients and to join a team and company which really believes in its mission (create a bright future for the arts), is doing very valuable work for its clients (we fill every seat - every week, and drive financial and operational vitality for performing arts organisations) and is the global leader with the core product (since 2019, 90% of our clients have sold out seasons within 12-24 months).     People in the arts are mildly confused when we share that StillArt's clients have sold out seasons within 12-24 months. And that we since 2019 have a 90% success rate (the one that failed grew too fast, but now they have reorganized and are back on track). Our problem is that this sounds like it's too good to be true, and for this reason people often doubt we are serious. Then they want to know how we do it. Partly they want to understand, but often they also want the shortcuts. - C'mon Magnus, we got all that philosophical stuff already. Now please tell us, what do you REALLY do? The reality is, it takes a lot of specialized skills, we work very systematically (we have an 80 step work breakdown), it takes peoplepower (we join the project with 5-15 specialists), it takes money (we take 100% responsibility for financing the growth) and it's A LOT of hard work (you can ask my wife). These are our shortcuts. And we continuously work on improving them. And why do we do this? Because we believe in the importance of the arts to enrich our communities. The more, the better. It's that simple.
