Initiatives

The initiatives listed below guides much of the work the Office of the Executive Vice President for Administration and are intentionally focused on supporting the MSU Mission and its People. In realizing these initiatives, we further advance MSU’s excellence and impact, recognizing that we can only truly do so if we foster an equitable and safe university for all.

Aligned with the university’s 2030 Strategic Plan, the Office of EVPA is exploring opportunities to be better stewards of university resources; enhance customer service and agility; modernize our systems, processes and policies; and to comport ourselves to the highest standards expected of those who are privileged to expend public funds.

By cultivating a diverse, equitable, and inclusive community, especially within the EVPA portfolio, we ensure that everyone at MSU can reach their full potential.

Enterprise Project Management Office
The EPMO manages projects and portfolios for MSU, employing industry best practices to align with university objectives. As part of the Office of the Executive Vice President of Administration, it serves as a centralized hub for enterprise projects. The EPMO ensures a university-wide approach to identify, prioritize, and execute projects in alignment with MSU's mission and strategic goals, facilitating project management activities throughout the institution. To accomplish these goals, we use project management principles, skills, methodologies and tools to lead team members through each of the project management steps which are known as the project lifecycle.
