Living Sustainability: How we embrace the SDGs at MSIGEU 🤗 At MSIGEU, sustainability is not just a concept – it is a core part of our values and shapes how we do business. Actively engaging with the United Nations’ 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) is our way of contributing to a better future, because sustainability impacts both our present and future. 🌱 Over the past two months, our company has focused on SDG 3: Good Health and Well-Being, which emphasises on ensuring healthy lives and promoting well-being at all ages. To align our efforts with this goal, our HR department organised a series of activities aimed to support the health and well-being of our employees. 💚 The initiative kicked off with our annual Health Day at our Cologne office which included various health check-ups, and workshops on mindfulness and trainings, fascia training, and a smoothie bike to promote healthy eating in a fun, interactive way. Chocolate Santas for the Station Mission Cologne 🎅🏼 Just in time for St Nicholas' Day on the 6th of December, MSIGEU donated chocolate Santas to the Bahnhofsmission Köln (Station Mission Cologne). This act of charity, which has been initiated in 2021, is supposed to bring a little joy to those in need during the cold season. ✨ The Bahnhofsmission Köln is an important point of contact for people in vulnerable situations. It offers help regardless of origin, religion or social status. In addition to acute support – such as a warm shelter, a drink or a snack – it provides visitors with advice and assistance. Whether homeless people, persons with mental health issues or travellers in a challenging situation – the Bahnhofsmission Köln is there for everyone.🤍 Especially during Christmas season, we want to emphasize the importance of social responsibility, community work, and solidarity. A day of golf for a good cause⛳ On Friday, November 29th, we had the privilege of sponsoring the Charity Golf Championship VIII Copa de Golf Quinta Angustia, organised by the Hermandad de la Quinta Angustia. This event was dedicated to supporting vital organisations, including the Food Bank, ANDEX and Cáritas Patronal. ✨ The tournament took place in Seville and brought together participants and supporters for a day of sport, connection, and generosity. We were honoured to not only sponsor the event but also attend and witness the genuine spirit of giving that filled the day. The total proceeds from the tournament were directed towards Work of Charity and Assistance, helping to support those in need. Wrapping with a heart: Our Social Day in the spirit of Christmas 🎁🎄 Christmas is the season of giving, and just in time for the start of the Advent season we turned our office into Santa’s workshop. With wrapping paper, tape and a lot of heart, our team came together to make sure no child or teenager is left without a special gift this holiday season! 🎅 Thanks to the generous donations of our employees, we had the privilege of packing dozen of presents for children and young people living in difficult circumstances. Our goal was to bring a little extra joy and light into their holiday season and to remind them that they are cared for. From toys to board games, each gift was chosen with care to create magical moments during the festive season. These gifts will now be donated to "Geschenke Gegen Kindertränen e.V." (Registered Association: "Gifts Against Children's Tears") so they can be distributed to children and families in time for Christmas. 🙏 This Social Day was about making meaningful contributions and sharing the spirit of the season. Honouring our Business Partners with Tradition and Taste ✨ Since almost 16 years, MSIGEU operates in Bratislava and serves our Slovak and Czech clients as reliable insurance partner. During this time of valuable cooperation, it has become a well-received tradition to invite our most important business partners for an end-of-year event in order to express our gratitude and to celebrate the Slovak Beaujolais. 🍇 Not only was it a moment to look back on a successful year, thank our business partners and honour once again the SIBAF Awards won by our Slovak Branch, but also a good opportunity to set sails for the future. Radovan Figura, Managing Director of our Slovak branch, found the perfect words to resume the day: “It was once again an amazing evening with amazing people. A great opportunity for discussions over excellent wine and good food, not just about work. Theory meets practice 🙌 In an era where digitalisation is reshaping industries and lives, our colleague Saman Gauliard, Head of IT Management, co-lectured at the University of Applied Sciences in Darmstadt. He shared key insights into both technical and organisational approaches to addressing today’s challenges arising from this ongoing digital evolution and its associated risks and dangers. 🔐 From cybercrime to data theft and regulatory landscapes – he and the fourth-semester computer science students explored the critical challenges of Cyber Security in today’s digital world and discussed the all-important question: How resilient are companies against cyberattacks? 🌐 With cyber threats evolving every day, it is a perfect reminder that safeguarding our digital future requires both awareness and action. We are happy to contribute beyond our daily work by giving young people practical insights into the corporate world and engaging with them directly. Support for Spain 🤝🏼 We are devastated by the severe flooding in Spain and the victims it has claimed. The extreme rainfall has swept away entire villages, caused power cuts and made it difficult for residents to access clean water and food. 😔 In line with our guiding principle "We take care", it is important to us to support the community in Valencia, which has been particularly affected by the floods. Therefore, we donated to Diakonie Katastrophenhilfe, which is committed to rebuilding the severely damaged infrastructure in Valencia and helping those affected to rebuild their homes and basis of existence. 🏡 Part of our aid also went to VETO – Tierschutz and is dedicated to the animal shelters in the south of Spain, which were also badly affected by the floods and urgently need support to ensure the continued care and protection of the animals. 🐕 We are committed to showing solidarity with all those who need support in these challenging times. 🤍 #MSIGEU #WeTakeCare #FloodSpain #CommunitySupport

We are paw-ssionate about our office dogs! 🐶 May we present to you: Zsupa, Bonnie, Lilo, Sunny, Hiro, Poppy and Kira! With our office-dog-policy, we have created a space for MSIGEU employees to bring their furry friends into the office – and we are happy to see that this offer has been well received! 🙌 Bringing dogs into our offices does not only allow their owners to be more flexible at work without leaving their dogs home alone but can also have several positive effects on the working atmosphere. These include reduced stress levels, active walking breaks and more social contact and exchange. 🐕 But no worries, our office dogs do not have to work all that hard. Offsite with a View 🏔️ At the end of October, our Italian Leadership Team left Milan for an offsite in the beautiful mountains of Cortina d’Ampezzo. ☀️ Research has recently shown that corporate offsites can have a positive impact on business performance by helping to build meaningful collaborative networks between employees – which is definitely true here! In addition to strengthening the Leadership Team’s connection, welcoming new members and facilitating effective communication, the event provided some time away from day-to-day tasks to focus on broader issues. The offsite also supported the team in adjusting to growth and aligning next year’s targets. 🎯 As well as working efficiently, the Italian Leadership Team also enjoyed the adventure of mountain biking and discovering the beautiful landscape of Cortina d'Ampezzo.
