Your team is spread across different time zones. How can you ensure they don't burn out?
My recommendation is to refrain from inundating your teams with hours of useless meetings every single week. Schedule necessary meetings during times that are reasonable for them, and ensure they are getting value from these meetings. Work as much as possible asynchronously, and have respect for people's hours outside of normal working hours. Leadership/management should be the ones accommodating to the normal business hours of their teams the majority of the time. Lastly - if your people are in customer facing roles that require work outside of regular hours due to time zones, then schedule them consistently so they can develop a consistent routine.

Your innovation team is divided on ideas. How can you navigate conflicting opinions and still drive progress?
In my experience, if there's no conflict then there's no innovation. Navigating conflicting ideas is a matter of who makes the strongest case, and whose ideas have the most long-tail upside for the company. After all, innovation is a long game.

Here's how you can smoothly transition into a new leadership role as an executive.
The top book on this subject is "The First 90 Days" by Michael D. Watkins. It's an incredible book, and my biggest takeaway was to do a STAR Framework analysis of the business and act accordingly. Is the business a: 1. Startup 2. Turnaround 3. Accelerated Growth 4. Realignment Each has it's own approach and tasks to complete. Some require quick and decisive reorgs, and others (like 3) you better stay out of the way and observe what's working and why before doing anything.
