We are thrilled to announce that our team has won both the Outstanding Achievement in Chemical Engineering and Water Award for the drinking water treatment system initiative. This exceptional project was developed to provide the Attawapiskat First Nation community in Ontario with reliable access to clean drinking water. Corina Moore, our Executive VP of Transportation and Infrastructure, shared: "Providing access to clean water is vital for the prosperity of all communities. I am proud of the work of our team members, who were able to use their expertise to develop a customized solution that will allow the people of the Attawapiskat First Nation to turn on the tap and know that clean, treated water will come out." Today, we remember the 14 women who lost their lives in the Polytechnique Montréal massacre and others who have faced gender-based violence. This National Day of Remembrance and Action on Violence against Women is a moment to reflect on the lasting impact of this tragedy on Canada and our industry and to reaffirm our commitment to fostering a world free of hatred and violence. We must continue to stand united to confront discrimination, empower women and girls to live without fear, and champion education and action to prevent gender-based violence.
