In the same year Hamilton increased DCs on new construction by 30% they have also proposed to change the rules on the timing of payment in the middle of the approvals process builders have been operating under in a move that will cost new home buyers in multi-phased projects millions of dollars. WE HBA CEO Michael Collins-Williams and Manager of Planning & Government Relations, Michelle Diplock, RPP presented our concerns to Planning Committee on Friday and were pleased to see this item deferred for additional consultation with those most affected.
