  • Thank you to our in-person & virtual participants for attending SEE’s “Practical AI for Funding Applications” workshop presented by our amazing Director of Operations Adam Kelly 🚀 Adam led our workshop using Anthropic's AI service Claude to provide a response for funding applied for by Indigenous Vitality (which provides youth sports camps to First Nations communities across Canada) helmed by current SEE participant Matt Nobess 🏒 Attendees left with more knowledge & tips built off everyone’s subject matter experience not only in AI, but in finance, business, communications, and more! Some common themes SEE noticed during the workshop included: • Using step-by-step AI prompting techniques (like RISE & COSTAR) build AI’s own subject matter expertise ⚙️ • Adding “context pieces” provide streamlined responses (essentially anything written or photographic that can be attached) 🧑🏽💻 • To shape tone & style in AI’s response, include references to your audience and their values 🤝 • AI isn’t great at editing based on proofreading, spellchecking, & connecting with emotion (unless we tell it so) ✍🏽 • AI users should also incorporate editing & storytelling techniques to build AI’s “memory” 🧠 SEE’s initial idea for the workshop led with the goal of aiding entrepreneurs struggling to overcome traditional writing & tech barriers, allowing for more confident & faster responses from funders, donors, banks, & supporters 💵 SEE received a great response to this workshop, so we’d like to know if this workshop or similar ones should be offered again in the future! If you're a SEE participant or alumni, or want to get started with our programming for entrepreneurs in Manitoba, let us know what you think in the comments! Your input allows us to host tailored workshops based on your interests as diverse social innovators & impactful entrepreneurs in Manitoba 🦬 Visit https://seenclave.ca/ for more information
