How to design a high-converting page? (This example will show you how) Lucent Globe is a fast growing ecommerce detergent brand in Australia. Here’s how I would improve their landing page (in 3 parts): Part 1: Headline & Supporting Texts → Clearly state what your product is & what makes it different → Make headline text bigger so it stands out → Highlight product benefits in the supporting text beneath headline → Make supporting texts easily scannable & readable (bullet points would help) → Bonus: Showcase reviews from 220,000+ customers Part 2: Main Hero Image → Pictures speak a thousand words → Select a clear, close up image of the product → Clearly highlight to the user what the product is & what makes it unique → Premium image that builds trust with the brand Part 3: Call to Action → Showcase featured publications for social proof → Used “See How It Works” rather than “Shop Now” → Because it’s a unique product, users will be curious to find out how it works → Risk-reversal: Make it a no brainer for customers to buy with a money-back guarantee Making these changes will capture someone’s attention. And make them curious enough to want to browse the website further. Which is an important first step in getting someone interested to make a purchase. When was the last time you looked into the deep dark corners of your Google Ads account? DTC brands will waste $10000’s this BFCM. On one channel. SMS. The way most brands look at it is inherently wrong. “It’s a promotional period so let’s send it to EVERY SMS subscriber.” Maximise revenue earning potential, right? Wrong. Look at the engagement data for your SMS subs. A large % will have never clicked on a message. A large % will have signed up months ago & never purchased. The incremental lift from including everyone in your SMS sends is likely small. For the most part, you’ll just be spending boatloads more, for a measly ROI. Be smart with your SMS segmentation. And save yourself a few quid in the process.

After today (1st July), it will be inaccessible. Don't lose valuable insights. Running Google Ads in a highly competitive industry? The below suggestions might help you squeeze a little more out of your budget. Recently I've noticed a bit of an influx of overseas traffic in b2b accounts, despite location targeting to Australian states. This is going to be impossible to completely avoid, but ensure you're doing the following to keep overseas/out of area traffic minimal: - Ensure you've got your location settings set to "Presence: People in, or regularly in your included locations". - Set other countries/out of area regions as excluded locations as a fail safe. - Consider tightening up your ad scheduling to exclude times where local users are unlikely to be online and searching on Google. E.g. midnight to 5am. - Add negative keywords covering cities/states/countries outside your target location(s). e.g. "new york", "united states", "india" etc.. terms that include a single word can be set to negative broad, and terms that include two or more words (e.g. "new york") should be set to negative phrase.
