“Kirsty worked as the Closure Specialist on a project where I was seeking the environmental approvals between 2013 and 2014. Kirsty was extremely professional and organised, and led the team to good technical solutions where there were conflicts between the proposed mine plans and environmental outcomes. Being my first major mining environmental approval, Kirsty was also a great teacher and mentor in educating me on the closure planning process, regulatory requirements and the potential solutions that could be explored (and be acceptable) to meet the key objectives. I don't believe it would have been possible to have received minimal comments from the regulators and such a smooth approvals process, had it not been for Kirsty's proactive approach to the project and her strong engagement with the main stakeholders. Kirsty will be a valuable technical asset to any company.”
