#ASXNews Strong Gold Results Extend Prospects, Bolstered by Shallow Discovery Torque Metals is pleased to announce the discovery of a new zone of shallow #gold mineralisation, as well as more high-grade results from the recent drill program at its flagship Paris Gold Project in Western Australia. Results overall significantly enhance the project's potential, with continued support for a geological link along the 2.5km long corridor between the Paris, HHH and Observation prospects. • Assays from recent drill campaign at Torque's Paris Gold Camp confirm strong gold mineralisation at Paris, HHH and Observation prospects, supporting large Gold Camp concept (2.5km x 1km and open) • #Drilling successfully extended Paris gold mineralisation by up to 50m from previous intercepts, best holes including 16.3m @ 7.95 g/t gold from 272m, including 4.63m @ 25.62 g/t gold from 277m in 24PDD001 • New shallow discovery made, in the previously untested 1.5km gap between the HHH and Paris pits suggesting the two prospects may be connected. #ASXNews St Anne’s Mineral Resource Update Meeka Metals Limited is pleased to report a 60% increase in the St Anne’s Mineral Resource to 0.4Mt @ 3.1g/t Au for 40k ounces. •The open pit constrained grade of 3.1g/t Au increased 11% following the inclusion of shallow infill #drilling reported in the March 2024 quarter. •100% of the Mineral Resource is Indicated and is based on ~39,000m of drilling up to 1 April 2024. •St Anne’s is a shallow, high-grade deposit with no prior mining and remains open at depth with an interpreted southerly plunge. •The total Mineral Resource at the Murchison #Gold Project (MEK 100%) has increased to 1.23 million ounces @ 3.0 g/t Au. •Mineral Resource upgrades for Turnberry and Andy Well (last updated in 2017) will be released in the June 2024 quarter. •Murchison Gold Project development documentation was submitted in December 2023 with approvals expected in the June 2024 quarter. •The Murchison Gold Project Definitive Feasibility Study (DFS) is focussing on restarting the fully permitted Andy Well mill. The DFS is expected to require significantly less time and capital to restart operations in a high-gold price environment while allowing for future expansion. •Secured debt funding for the Murchison Gold Project is also progressing well and an update will be provided in the June 2024 quarter. Commenting on this update, #MEK’s Managing Director Tim Davidson said: “This resource update captures the strong infill drilling results from St Anne’s reported in the March 2024 quarter. The potential for #uranium mining to add value in WA is extraordinary and can be developed independent of any state election outcome: 1. Diversify WA govt revenues away from iron ore 2. Replace jobs lost in nickel, lithium and iron ore 3. Play an important role in global decarbonisation; helping our most important trading partners. 4. Protect all West Australians standard of living The WA electoral situation is also fascinating: A. Premier Cook remains relatively likeable; unlike Albanese; but less popular than previous Premier McGowan. His shadow still looms large. B. The upcoming WA state election will be Premier Cook’s first time contesting an election as the Premier; as it will be Libby Mettam’s first election as Liberal leader. C. Traditional election theory says federal elections are decided on federal issues; and State elections are relatively independent. D. However, many of the federal issues poisoning Albo and Federal Labor are also resonating at State level –the Regis Resources project cancellation by Plibersek, reunionisation of the Pilbara, federal EPA changes, and energy policy. E. Labor worries about losing its Left to the Greens. But now – the calculation must be – what about those on the Right – mining employees who have lost their jobs? A change in uranium policy to allow mining would be a balance between the Left and the Right.
