Moth Tracker has surpassed 1,000 verified Bogong Moth sightings this migration season! 🤯 This is a 318% increase compared to the same time last year, showcasing the growing interest and dedication of the community to become citizen scientists. We're incredibly grateful to everyone who has contributed their sightings. 410 students and teachers from 45 Victorian schools attended our 2024 Fighting Extinction Schools Showcase. It was so awesome! 🐨 Wildlife conservation projects included habitat restoration, advocacy and local species campaigns, clean ups, council partnerships, fundraising, and citizen science. All of this was done through the power of curriculum. Thank you to everyone who attended and to our partners Department of Education, Victorian Catholic Education Authority (VCEA), Indigital, WWF-Australia and Microsoft.

Healesville Sanctuary was inducted into the Hall of Fame, after winning a third consecutive 🥇 gold for the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Experience category.
