RMA are excited to see the latest addition to the Black Toyota family up and running! We are proud to be part of another successful project with the Black Family and Eagers Automotive group. The brand-new state of the art facility consists of a dealer showroom, service workshop, wash bays, display areas and a vehicle storage area. With extensive experience on retail and commercial projects, our team were engaged to provide a full suite of services. Working alongside Nielsen Project Management from Pre-DA through to construction, we delivered an integrated design that included flood modelling, stormwater, traffic, civil, structural and hydraulic engineering. With over 30 years of experience delivering projects in Dalby, our team were very familiar with the site’s extremely reactive clay material typical to the area. Through this experience, our structural team developed of a hybrid semi suspended foundation system to mitigate the risk of reactive soil whilst still providing a cost-effective solution. Congratulations to the Wagner Group for celebrating their 10th anniversary of the Toowoomba Wellcamp Airport! RMA had the pleasure of delivering structural and hydraulic engineering services for this landmark project. A decade later, Wellcamp Airport is a gateway airport and central freight hub, providing interstate and international connectivity for the region. Recently we had the pleasure of attending a charity golf day to support LifeFlight’s ‘Critical Care Doctor’ program.   RMA is incredibly proud to support such a great initiative.   A record amount of $40,000 was raised, an amazing effort from the Wide-Bay Burnett community, bringing LifeFlight one step closer to making the 24 hour program a reality.   A special thank you to the organisers, sponsors and participants for making this event possible. #LifeFlight #GolfDay

Construction Update | Turtle Sands Nature Resort, Mon Repos RMA were engaged as the lead engineers for the redevelopment of the Turtle Sands Nature Resort in Mon Repos. This redevelopment will provide a genuine ecotourism experience that supports conservation of marine turtles at Mon Repos, which serves as a critical nesting ground for one of Australia’s most important marine species. Our team provided civil and stormwater engineering during the DA and detailed design phases, and construction management services throughout the construction phase. Due to the site being located in a defined wetland protection area, our team faced unique engineering challenges, including avoidance of high impact earthworks for site grading. Further challenges included localised DFE and storm tide overlays, as well as maintaining minimum depth for sanitary drainage to optimise the construction process. We’re thrilled to be a part of this exciting redevelopment and are looking forward to achieving the next milestone in this project. RMA is pleased to share the recent completion of Kellys Beach Estate, a 32-lot residential subdivision overlooking the water in the heart of Bargara. Engaged as the Principal Consultant, RMA’s Bundaberg team worked closely with our valued, long-term client to provide engineering and development advisory services. Our multi-disciplinary team provided a coordinated service approach, managing the project in-house, through the DA and operational works phases. We undertook an initial site analysis and developed a layout that catered for the site’s complex stormwater management needs whilst improving feasibility for the developer. Our team developed a non-standard design solution using Filterra by Ocean Protect which removed the need for traditional bioretention basins and ultimately increased the development yield. As we progressed to the construction stage, RMA offered a full suite of construction management services, including tendering, contract administration and site supervision. We have a passion for collaborating with repeat clients to deliver a service focused on their development outcomes.
