I am excited to share that, in my role leading advocacy at YEU, I had the opportunity to work on the "Resilient Youth: Caring for Mind, Heart, and Soul" initiative, focusing on the mental health and well-being of young people across Europe. This initiative, launched in September 2024 as part of the No Agenda Advocacy framework, has been a truly collaborative effort, and I would like to highlight the amazing team that made it possible: 📌 Alba Zecca, Project Assistant at YEU, provided essential support throughout the project, from the creation of the logo to the finalization of the infographic report. 📌 Caroline Altman, Communication Officer at YEU, was key in designing the report, bringing the vision to life with her expertise. 📌 Karolina Kosowska (she/her) and Eliana Calixto were essential in shaping the survey by helping to craft the questions, drawing from their professional expertise as a youth worker and psychologist. Their contributions ensured that the mental health and well-being aspects of the survey were addressed with the depth and care they require, making the findings both insightful and grounded in a solid understanding of these important topics. 📌 Selin Gürlemez, the Secretary General of YEU, coordinated the entire initiative, ensuring everything ran smoothly and aligned with our goals. 📊 This infographic report provides crucial insights into the mental health challenges young people face and their strategies for resilience. 📢 After this report, we will be developing a strategy for advocacy in this field, including offering workshops and discussions for young participants to further engage with these important topics. ➡️ Check out the infographic report on YEU website : https://lnkd.in/dsxqNdTk #yeu #yeuworld #yeufamily #mentalhealth #wellbeing #mentalhealthoftheyouth #mentalhealthmatters #naresilientyouth #europeanunion

Access to mental health services should not be a privilege but a fundamental human right, yet far too often, marginalized communities face significant barriers to accessing the care they need. Addressing disparities in mental health care access requires a multifaceted approach that prioritizes equity, inclusivity, and cultural competence. This means ensuring that mental health services are affordable, geographically accessible, and tailored to meet the unique needs of diverse communities. It also involves breaking down systemic barriers, combating stigma, and amplifying the voices of underrepresented groups in mental health advocacy. #MentalHealthAwarenessMonth #Equity #MentalHealth
