We are thrilled to see the Northshore Brisbane precinct recognised for outstanding environmental impact, announced as winner of the Excellence in Environmental Award at the Infrastructure Sustainability Council (ISC) Gala Awards. The Northshore Brisbane Street Renewal Program is a shining example of how innovative urban design can create cooler, greener, and more vibrant communities, serving as the Brisbane 2032 Olympic and Paralympic athletes’ village and later transitioning into a dynamic residential, commercial, and industrial area. At ADG Engineers, as managing consultant for the major precinct roadworks package, we are proud to have collaborated with Economic Development Queensland (EDQ) and Urbis on this transformative project. This collaboration, along specialist sustainability partners, has led to a first-of-its-kind outcome for the works at the Northshore Hamilton precinct. From investigating advanced water recycling initiatives and designing to reduce the urban heat island effect to recycling existing pavement materials, ADG's engineering solutions are at the forefront of engineering sustainability. Congratulations to EDQ on winning this award, we look forward to continuing our partnership with EDQ and Urbis to drive lasting environmental benefits and create a greener future for all. #weareadg #wedesignwithpurpose #Sustainability #UrbanDevelopment #EnvironmentalExcellence #Collaboration #GreenFuture

We are thrilled to announce that ADG Engineers, in collaboration with the Airport Development Group and THE Mining Pty Ltd, have emerged victorious at the 2024 UDIA NT (Northern Territory) Awards for Excellence in the Urban Renewal category for our innovative work on the DARWIN INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT PTY LIMITED project! Our team provided civil engineering services for the re-development of the entry roads, including two roundabouts, road system re-direction, and major drainage upgrades. This project also included civil and structural engineering services for the development of new pavilions and restaurant/café buildings, creating a resort facility unparalleled in the local market. This prestigious award recognises the revitalisation and effective use of land in established areas, showcasing our commitment to best-practice engineering solutions. The success of this project is a testament to the seamless collaboration between our Darwin, Gold Coast, Perth, and Brisbane practices and the flexibility and agility required to navigate complex site conditions. A huge thank you to the Urban Development Institute of Australia (UDIA NT) for acknowledging our hard work and dedication. We look forward to continuing to design with purpose and deliver excellence on every project. #weareadg #wedesignwithpurpose #UDIA #awardsofexcellence #northernterritory

We are thrilled to acknowledge the ADG Engineers Gold Coast team’s recent participation in the 2024 Keals Cup at the beautiful Springbrook National Park. This unforgettable muddy day was dedicated to supporting Men’s Mental Health—a critical topic that resonates deeply with ADG. It was a powerful reminder that men, particularly in the construction industry, often experience poor mental health and need education and space to express their emotions rather than suppress them. The ADG team, comprising Cameron Rumball, David Saul, Stuart Thienpont, Timothy Fairlie, and Jonathan Onslow, demonstrated incredible commitment and teamwork, finishing an impressive second in the Hunger Games! Their efforts highlighted the importance of teamwork, expectations, and accountability, mirroring the unwavering support we offer each other in the workplace. Our involvement in the Keals Cup is a perfect reflection of ADG’s commitment to supporting our community and using our skills and opportunities to make a positive impact. We are passionate about creating opportunities that help break the cycles of poverty, abuse, and mental health issues. By collaborating with our industry, government, social infrastructure partners, and our people, we develop strategies and initiatives to support this core purpose and help bring about real change. A huge thank you to Peter and the YTB PLUMBING team for organizing such a meaningful event. The energy, camaraderie, and support on the day were nothing short of inspirational. We can’t wait to participate again next year! #weareADG #KealsCup #MensMentalHealth #CommunitySupport #Teamwork #CorporateSocialResponsibility

ADG Engineers are proud to share our involvement in the Structural engineering scope for the 706 Bruce Highway, Woree Cairns Social Housing Project. As the largest social and affordable housing project in Queensland, it will utilise modern construction methods to deliver 1,008 volumetric timber modules, making it the largest of its kind in the southern hemisphere. This ambitious project forms part of the Department of Housing, Local Government, Planning and Public Works Queensland Government’s Homes for Queenslanders plan, contributing to the target of delivering one million new homes, including 53,500 social homes, by 2046. This landmark development, supported by the Queensland Government’s Housing Investment Fund, will provide 490 new homes for seniors and people with disabilities. The project includes 245 social, 223 affordable, and 22 specialist disability apartments, creating a connected and accessible environment for older Queenslanders while freeing up under-utilised social housing for families in need. Construction has commenced and is anticipated to be completed by the end of 2026. We are proud to be a part of this transformative Department of Housing, Local Government, Planning and Public Works project along with nettletontribe, Cairns Regional Council, Modscape, FCC Construction Australia, which underscores our commitment to innovative and sustainable engineering solutions. #weareadg #wedesignwithpurpose #QueenslandHousing #SustainableConstruction #CommunityImpact
